Though a per-family topic would be good for co-ordinating appearance, tactics, meeting people etc...

Hi all.

Right, this is my first time at Copehill, or in fact at any weekender, so before I begin, I know I started the topic but I'm no expert!

I've created a mailing list on my server, chad@chrispyfur.net

If you would like to join this list for off-board discussions (after all, the coalition can read this board right?) please email me and I"ll stick you on the List.

So far we have three member on the list, simply email chris@chrispyfur.net with your full name and email address.

From then on , you can simply mail chad@chrispyfur.net and the message goes to the entire list.

Looking forward to some Chad action!

Chrispy.

All Families & Heads of a family please remeber all family negotiations & plans must be passed,by the House of ROY, as we govern the city & rule the family's- we dont want no renagade stuff going on here, there will be roles to play- if this is your first event you must note that there will be certain tasks asked of your family! as the family of chad is a mixed family i will issue you a head of family member & they must liase with me throughout the weekend. i dont wanna spoil your fun & im sure what we have planned will make you all very, very happy, but there is a format to be followed. (read the game style & rules Section)

the role play element to our side is critical & i want everyone to get into character & the spirit of the game!
remember we will have time to discuss private issues in the mosque on friday night & over the course of the weekend during call to prayers for heads of family's who will brief their own family's, so that everyone will be following the correct ROE as & when necessary.

keep me posted on your plans.

Hey There .

The idea for the thread was for people to say hello before we arrive and maybe sort out some kind of clothing we can wear to distinguish us from the other families.  Nothing sinister!

Maybe the private mailing list is a bad idea, is there some other way we can discuss stuff on these forums that'll not be read by the coalition?

Cheers!

hi chris i sent you a PM Mate,
initially it was to be a protected forum but getting everyone in, in time was an issue this way as you said its an open forum, there is the PM option or if your talkin apparrell & guns etc then your option may be o.k. but its gettin all your family in there?? whereas the open forum option allows them who wanna pop in & out the freedom & option to do so!

the reply post is a generic responce  also now as you will see.

cheers

First off, guess we should all say hello Smiley

I'm Chris, 31 years old, been playing for about three years.
I'm here with Jae Forrester, just the two of us!

We'll be bringing a fair old arsenal with us, a coupole of nice m16/4's an Army R85 (if they ever arrive) and an SVD.

We also plan on bringing down some supplies to keep family Chad in good health and supplied with hot tea during the cold battle ravaged evenings.

Can anyone think of some form of identifying clothing we can wear for our family?

Hello All

Im Tony and have been told by my fellow team mates that I represent Fashco which is our team. We have six members that are planning to come along, weve been  playing together as a team here in the south of the UK for 7+ years  and plan to deploy as x2 snipers x2 riffle men and x2 with GPMGs

we are happy to go along with whatever is planned and help further the glorious family of Chad and kick out the western infidels from our sacred lands lol

c u all there Tony

Hi all,

I'm nathan i'm 33 years old its my first weekender and I've been playing about a year.

I'll be coming in wall to wall DPM and my trusty m15a4 with 203.

What's the views on radio's?

If anyone is up for a beer friday night then feel free to huddle round my headlights, I live next door to a micro brewery so I'll buy.

The micro brewery beer cache sound incredible!

I was hoping we'd be allowed to occupy our family homes in the evening on Friday, not sure if this is possible.

We have only basic 8 channel radio's and will bring as many as we can find (I think thre are about 5 around somewhere).
The more advance radios can operate with the basic 8 channel ones I _think so if we all try and bring what we have...

Radio channels for PMRs will be issued out to the african families so you will each have your own frequency, to operate privately on plus a communal African family channel, these will be issued when we get to the CHAD!
