Top weekend.

Another big thankyou to ETS who added a welcome dynamic element of realism to the whole thing.  The IED on Saturday morning gave me goose bumps - top marks gentlemen!  The police made it interesting as well; I was charged with not having a valid yellow fever innoculation card twice!!

I think everyone played well on both sides this weekend.  All worked hard to acheive their goals.

Well done to all those who were in command and/or helped run things behind the scenes, and my respect to all those who stayed to clean up the site at the end.

(And thanks to Copehill Down for some brilliant off-roading on Sunday afternoon!)

Let's see the pics people!

Thanks to all who attended this weekend hope you all enjoyed it maybe next year it wont lash down with rain all day saturday but knowing that place i doubt it.
But then it is monsoon season in the Chad this time of year  Wink

Thanks to all the staff this weekend for their hard work and dedication too many to name but you know who you are.

Good to see so many people really entering into the spirit of the game and getting involved in the role play elements which were done to perfection as always by those crazy ETS boys, thankyou guys.

Highlight for me was the Dubious dead sheep incident in which  the police demanded the handing over of one of my troops which i wasnt going to allow so handed myself over instead and found myself in the fabled Chadian Porno dungeon being told i faced 40 years hard labour in prison. it was looking pretty bleak down there i tell you so i was glad to hear Coalition forces were upstairs demanding to see me and confirm my safety. At which point those clever chaps at Task Force Black proceeded to bribe detectives with a very large bag of Bolivian Marching powder and we were out of there. Brilliant work guys and i thank you again lol.

members of my troop 45 Commando will find a message for them in 45s discussion thread.

Again a big thankyou to all who attended this event and made it a success.

Message to ****** ******* Chairman of the International Revolutionary Council
A report on the situation in N’djamena, Chad.

Chairman,
i sat with the families on Friday night to introduce myself to all the heads of families, I informed them that we were being brought together because the International revolutionary Council, requested us to be a contingent on the ground & oppose the death sentence of General Udabi Azear, & that we should combine resources to come to an agreement with the west for a peaceful Chad, an amicable resolution & normality in our city, even to possibly hand over governmental control to them if they would liase with us.

We were to approach this from a peaceful angle as agreed & to curb or angst for the west as a amrk of respect for AZEAR.
All the money from the Hawalla- money Train pooled & stored in the bank would be used to aid us in the form of compensation for the west or to buy help in regaining our city. I told my heads of families that The International Revolutionary council the “greater power” our governing body, our political leadership, wanted a peaceful outcome, they did not promote radical extremists or terrorism & requested we use as much political advantage as we could.

An Agreement was made between The Devine Brotherhood of Roy & the Western Powers that be that, there would be a peaceful protest & demonstration about the hanging of General Udabi Azear, a visionary for a united Africa. There would be no fighting, the coalition could police the situation along with the Chadian police, and the Chadian families would go about there business.

And as agreed the families of N’djamena lined the streets to celebrate the life of the admired & worshiped General Azear, a man who was outspoken about the love of his country, A visionary for a united Africa, a self sufficient Africa.

The mood in the city was soured by the heavy handed presence of the coalition forces who bullied their way into the city as they were given a the directive to advance from their green Zone where they had been detained, they stormed through houses & kicked out families, they found weapons! Yes! - they were in N’djamena, Chad, Africa- everyone has a weapon for security??? But they used these findings as excuses to be heavy handed & to try & take over the city.

The coalition also shot & killed several unarmed people on the streets who were protesting at their presence in the city & also against the hanging of Azear!

Still the coalition pushed the boundaries, the Africans adheared to the demand of Azear to remain peaceful until his death, he wanted to see people in celebration & support of him not fighting in anger!
So we awaited the moment that the west issued the order to murder azear & publicise his death as a warning to us!
Enough was enough, Azear was gone & we had been shoved around & bullied long enough,

We were prepared to have the coalition in the streets, allow them to patrol & build up a rapport with locals and gain trust- instead they hung themselves with the additional rope left from azear! BULLIES that’s the only way I can describe them

The call was given to go to arms, to take back the Homes we had lost to the American & British forces.

We were to assess the situation once we had regained our family homes, the Westerners had other Ideas.

The police were investigating the murders that had taken place prior to the Ceremony of Azear! & also an IED explosion planted by the west & scapegoated on us to gain forced entry into houses.  The police were so busy that  law enforcement became  very hard, therefore law in the city became that of vigilante style for a while.

My People were left with no option but to defend themselves & their families. After a call to My Member on the council, WAR was declared in the city! It could so easily have been avoided, but they left us no choice.

A push for territory then took place and we arm wrestled with the coalition for the advantage.

As the Area was now a war zone I asked the families to pray as & when they could, no stopping for prayers this time as the west did not respect our religion & took advantage of our ceasefire at prayers last time round, we have adapted our style to oppress them, I requested family leaders to attend meetings across the city under the guise of prayers every 2 hours or so! This gave us the opportunity to collate intel, get an up to date situation report & to build up our picture of where we were & what we wanted. And ideas & plans were discussed in a civil manner & we collectively pieced together our jigsaw.

The Mosque was turned into a Command centre, intel was flowing like blood from a hallal cow’s slit throat into the mosque & the information was digested & put to use.
Mortar attacks were planned & moral was greatly boosted by reports of large coalition casualties 10 killed, 30, killed 26 killed as the mortars penetrated vital ground.

Africans were arrested on the streets, for varying violations including non production of yellow fever cards, loitering & other offences,

Deals were made with the corrupt police to buy coke.
Our drug chain was making money on the ground buying & selling coke.

The Chadian Taxi company smuggled arms drugs & other objects across the city.
Carried Codes & intel to the bank.

Rabbit sellers also doubled up as smugglers & got intel on the ground for us, he was our eyes & ears!

The TV Station blasted out propoganda & moral boosting african rythms: the west tried to play cheesy western crasp & west Propoganda but we controlled the Airwaves continuosly

Stag rota on the bank guarding the gold & money was vigilantly carried out with access codes changing every 2 hours, for entry to the bank & for withdrawal purposes.

withdrawls were made to buy off police, hire PSD teams, Buy Drugs to distribute across the city, money made was also banked & money was made for the IRC.

During the battle we had people arrested & held in the police cells, negotiations for their release was conducted.

Prisoners were taken by us too  & they were detained in the cell within the mosque, here they were asked interrogated, placed in stress positions & paraded around! For all the Africans to see
They did it to us & showed no remorse, they spilled blood & continued to probe the city, we were now involved in warfare & we treated it as thus!

During the battle the coalition had a forceful retreat to their HQ, I was contacted by an SI7 Agent known as Jonathan McCormack, he wanted to meet with all the heads of family to discuss a compromise,he wanted an agreement on a ceasefire, we agreed with his request for a meet  & a meeting time was set.

In order for the meeting to be set I contacted the police & informed them of the meeting & could they offer support to the locals if they came under fire!
PSD teams were hired for cash to corden off the road to prevent an ambush by the coalition & for them to seize our panel of control, by capturing all the heads of families in one foul swoop?
We had not been show any remorse or compromise before so as you can imagine we were very wary of the situation the call to prayer meeting would be held in the city at a neutral location which was close to both sides of the diving road through the city.

Everything was in place?? The police who were liason for the meet arrived to inform me that the meeting was to be delayed by 45 mins & could we remain in place, the heads of family were dubious & we were exposed greatly, suspicion was high, so we asked for the meeting to happen within the next 10 minuets this was not to be adheared to and the heads of family along with their personal bodyguards vacated & the meeting was postponed.

Evening was now drawing close & darkness would soon fall on N’djamena, still the struggle for territory continued & showed no sign of letting up from either side.

The bodies of the captured prisoners were honourably delivered back to the Coalition front door! Albeit dead after torture & execution by the DBR! However, still returned for passage home to their families, RESPECT, always shown by us even in death.

Reports came in that a family covering the north west of the city shot down a Helicopter, a special operations Team were sent out to search for the crew, the found the pilot & held him captive, western special forces were on the ground also looking for their man but as usual we got there first.

They hid him around the city constantly moving him, at one point they were nearly caught as they entered a house, special forces trailed them, but my team went out the back & into the adjacent house & watched the rescue team destroy the wrong house& came out with a look of disillusion on their face, how could they be so close yet miss by so much? The pilot was badly injured from the crash & the rescue team were obviously never going to find him, so he was shot dead & his body was again duly returned to british HQ.

The coalition were now becoming inpatient as we rubbed salt in their wounds! At around 21:00 hrs coalition hijacked a farmer & his truck & drove to the bank, using the poor farmer as bait they tried to gain entry to the bank, but the guards were under strict orders to protect the Hawalla monies at all cost even the life of Roy Westfield the Farmer, who was shot to save the bank- he is a martyr.

At around 21.30 hours the SI7 agent contact Jonathan McCormack again made contact to discuss the meeting he had not been able to attend previously with the heads to discuss a ceasefire, he was informed that his window of opportunity had closed & he could liase with the sheriff of Me (Sulli) I met with him under this guise & to be frank, his requests were weak, he threatened empty threats! & promised exchanges for captured targets he did not have.

As the fighting continued I agreed that I would declare the east of the city a no fire zone, giving a little of what was originally agreed back to them, this was a show of democracy & our willingness to co-operate, meetings carried on & we were given a deadline, lose the city completely of declare a line across the city as a green zone & a mutual ceasefire, I held off until just before the curfew imposed on us at midnight! And agreed for the price of 12 million Chadian francs we would agree the ceasefire, we pulled back to the respective zones, the meeting to exchange the money never happened & the coalition continued to attack our people, they had broken their word again,

Throughout the ceasefire we probed the city, guns, ammo & were moved around into key positions. Intel was gathered & what seemed to be a still & quiet curfew was a hotbed of activity.

Around 06:00hrs information came over the net that the bank was under attack, families were called to assist & the attack on the bank was almost successful, the money from the families had been seized, but the gold bullion was in tact.

Contact with Mccormack was resumed & he was told in no uncertain terms he was a double crosser & a man who went back on his word, he tried to plead that we had handed him into the police as a conspiror, this did not come from my lips!

Special operatives were captured during the bank raid & held in the comfortable surroundings of the Cells we had prepared. They were questioned & intel was derived from these sessions.

After some time holding them I decided that I would set two free into the city, accompanied by Chadians, one was strapped up with explosives and was to be detonated upon exchange of detained African prisoners.

However the SI7 agent said he held my cleric?? When he made contact & informed me he held my cleric, I lookd to my left & asked my cleric who was sat next to me, what he tought of this, we laughed & we arranged the release of a man they believed was a high ranking cleric & a wanted man!! Fools.. they held the rabbit seller a street trader not a cleric.

I was growing impatient & the deal to exchange 6 prisoners for the Special forces operative who was wired to blow half of N’djamena & the coalition away was taking too long, we had been rumbled, the coalition had recieved word of our plans.
We had spies in the camp.
The special forces operative was shot as was the other being held in the city to draw the coalition into our hands. The 3rd operative I held captive was sent back in his white boiler suite as a sign of good will.

The order was given to flood the city & push the dirty western infidel dogs back over the divide of the city, give no ground, & go down fighting.

The line is drawn in the sand at the moment & we hold from the north through the west round to the south of the city.

I propose a meeting with the IRC to achieve an amicable & mutual settlement to this situation before any more blood is lost.

Your loyal commander
