Operation Titan, Catterick Urban Ops, 12/13th March 2011
Start of the second AOW Tour of Duty, Alexander 2

Location: Iriba Wadi Fira Region, Eastern Chad/Sudan border

Situation:

Iriba’s a small town in the Wadi Fira region and since 2008 has been under very low key DBR rule after ISAT departed following the election of George Henry Tuwkani.

Tuwkani’s time in power bought relative peace to the area until his assassination in 2009.

With last years free elections bringing Victor Aluma’s KGB to power and the reduction of ISAT forces in the Chad the DBR have been stirring trouble for the newly elected President. The national army has met serious resistance in its attempts to control the region.

Whilst the national army has taken over security duties from the International Security Assistance Taskforce President Aluma has agreed to work alongside smaller coalition groups acting as advisors to the new Chadian army.

Stationed at Bases along the Sudan Chad border Task forces Red, Blue, Black and White can be called upon to assist in joint ops with the national army.

Each task force is made up from Tier 1 and 2 Special Forces from Britain, America and Australia.

Task Force Red / KGB: Any desert mix

DBR Woodland / DPM / Mix of any non desert uniform. "No light clothing"

On behalf of Stirling Airsoft Ltd, i would like to thank everyone who attended this event, both teams fought a great battle for IRIBA.
the KGB & the DBR once again faced each other this time in a direct showdown.
A big shout to all those who helped out & to all the marshalls who were everpresent & did a great job. to all those who helped with the clean up.

The weekend bore witness to some ferocious firefights & a battle for superirority in the town, in these events there must be a victorious side & and a less successful side. this weekend saw the DBR hailed as victorious and take the lions share of the points.
Once again well done to all those who attended & Stirling Airsoft ltd hope you all had a great weekend & look forward to more battles & tours of duty with you.

once again congrats to the DBR for your well deserved victory.

IRIBA, part of the Wadi Fira region and a strong supporter of the DBR (Devine Brotherhood of ROY) where DBR forces held power & ISAT & KGB forces had a foot in the door.

Since Viktor Aluma gained his presidential status he promised to deliver unity & to reduce the number of ISAT & western forces trying to obtain authority within africa.

However the KGB party had a secret agenda in which they intended to crush the Devine Brotherhood of Roy & had constructed a policy to wipe out any followers of the DBR to attack any DBR members or its army and declared the DBR thier enemy, whenn we are merely their african brothers.
The DBR follow the beliefs of the mighty azear & it is his will to unite africa that drives us.

The KGB bolstered by the ISAT forces entered IRIBA to gain control of the area & without the usual political pleasanties they came mob handed into our town, only this time We knew who our enemy was.
the DBR have been betrayed by the KGB, this time we knew they were coming.

Orders from Zulu 2-1 & Zulu 2-0 (DBR command) where to put a blocking line across Iriba, to hold back the oncoming attack long enough for us to establish control of the region & to secure command HQ, also to deny the oncoming enemy the ability to gain entry to a forward base of operations, if they were going to have a command structure we wanted to cause this as much disruption as possible.
The DBR have been an army longer than the newly formed National Army of Presindent Aluma.an Army who needed the help of international coalition forces to fight their battles.

As we set our defensive line we hit the KGB with everything we had Hard & early, our intention to push the KGB back stood fast & effective.

Every callsign was loyal to their taskings & command & control was put into immidiate effect Intel came in thick & fast, spotters reported enemy movements which gave us the head start to send cut off groups to welcome our visitors with a barrgae of firepower.

Every Zulu 3 unit gave their everything to prevent being overturned by a powerful KGB national Army.
once we had establshed our defensive strength we moved for posession of important realty, key buildings we knew the KGB would target were secured by DBR fighters.

I have been in many battles with the DBR and i have to say that the fight for IRIBA will go down in DBR history as one of their greatest victories as we smashed the oncoming enemy & forced them out of the Wadi Fira.

With our Defensive line across Iriba We set teams to secure key target buildings across the region the following is my report:
