I am 11 and am just getting in to airsoft and there is a site near me that would allow me to play if i was with a parent/guardian should I go there and save up a bit so I can buy some good guns and equipment if so what would you suggest for a beginner

Yes, that sounds a good place to start.  Go down and enjoy yourself and see what you like about airsoft, you may enjoy the skirmish side of it or you may want to move more into the tactical areas. 

The basic equipment you need is your gun, mags and enough batteries to get you through the day.  Get a simple chest rig or assault vest that fits your body size comfortably.  Remember, keep it simple stupid, just because you've got fancy kit or accessories for your weapon it doesn't mean you'll perform any better or be more tactical.  I'd recommend getting a weapon that fits your body size and stamina for a day airsofting, an m4 or ak would be good, mp5's in a wood are too hollywood but that's personal preference.
