Urgent Message

To: USPACOM Operational HQ, Camp LaGaurdia, Seoul

CC: General Adams, Camp Delta, Seoul

From: Colonel Harrison, TF Black O.C.

Subject: POW's

Earlier today, during a routine standing patrol conducted by CDF and TF Black members, a number of North Korean special forces were captured outside Suwon.

After a firefight and a quick response by my TFB boys they managed to kill two but capture a number of others from their observation post.

They are currently being interrogated but i fear that their presence means the North are moving inland from Inch'on and could well be on their way towards Suwon.

I will contact you asap if our position changes.

To: General Maeng, Staff Officer to North Korean Command, Pyongyang.

From: General Tong, Commander of North Korean Assault Force

Subject: Area of Operations

After our triumphant victory against those southern dogs we have established a firm footing south of the DMZ.

Suwon is now acting as my HQ and i've manoeuvered my men into positions encircling Seoul. We have them cut off! I have also sent men south to press further into enemy territory. I am getting reports of guerilla hit and run actions already though.

We will be victorious, you have my word.

From: Director Reynolds, CIA, Langley, USA

Subject: Satellite Images

Hi Dick,

I see you've had to collapse back from Camp Delta to LaGuardia, i guess it's getting hotter round your way.

The guys in satInt have sent through the latest updates on the North's advances to Seoul. It looks as though they are circling you and trying to cut you off.

I know you have enough supplies in the City and that the air defences are intact so you can sit tight till the cavalry arrive, we'll try and airdrop some more supplies as and when.

We're taking the fight to them once we've reorganised so just keep working away with what you've got, the President sends his thoughts.

I've attached the satellite images for your int boys to go through.

Stay sharp.

Patrol Report

To: Duty Officer, Ops Room, Camp LaGuardia, Seoul

From: HQ 1st Special Forces Group FOB, Camp Sherman, Seoul

During one of our patrols extraction from an observation post four klicks south of Seoul, they were contacted by a forward element from North Korean Special Corps.

They were pinned down close to the railway depot in the Anyang-Shi district for almost an hour before aerial support proved effective. Acting as spotters on the ground they painted targets for our support bombers and managed to destroy a number of enemy vehicles as well as ground forces.

Their report also contains details that point towards this contact being a recconaisance squadron for General Tong's forces.

I'd reccomend stepping up defence provisions for areas south of the Han-gang river.

Thankfully, all patrol members made it back on transport.

May 2nd 2007

WARNING ORDER

To: A Squadron Troop Commanders

From: Colonel Harrison, TF Black O.C.

Although we are in isolation before 'Dark Moon' i've got a job for A Squadron that will help our future missions.

Each troop will be dropped into separate locations within the DMZ and their mission will be to destroy the communication relay stations in each operational area. These relay comms back to North Korean Command so it will severely limit their communication capability if we succeed.

The four locations are Kansong, Ich'On, Kaesong-Si and the Olchon Valley.

Yes, we are going back in and this time we are getting it right in the Olchon Valley.

Prepare to move no earlier than 1800 hours, local time on the 6th, orders will be given in the 48 hours beforehand.

Carry on with training as usual, start preparing rehearsals for close target recces on small dwellings and assault plans.

Wait out for my further orders.

URGENT MESSAGE

To: A Squadron Quick Reaction Force Commander

From: Colonel Harrison, TF Black O.C.

Scramble the QRF straight away, get in the air and we'll patch you the coordinates for the pick up. Looks like the five patrol members who were MIA from our action in the Olchon Valley the other week have surfaced, get them out quick because we need to process them asap. Make sure you've got the trauma team prep'd.

Good luck

We are readying to move into our FOB in the next 48 hours in preparation for Dark Moon. All is on track at the moment.

Just to give you an update on the guys that got rescued after their brief detention last month; They are back at Hereford now with the shrinks still. They claim that the area commander offered them release in return for confirmation of their operation, unfortunately three were executed before our QRF arrived and extracted them. They have supplied some interesting intel on the local air and artillery defences though that should help with our next and future ops.

Also, our first forward recce team got into trouble on the North Korean and Chinese border yesterday. They were pursued through woodland by both forces and were forced to fight their way to our emergency extraction.

So far no word of this engagement has made the media or been picked up between China and Korea.

At 0300 hours this morning, we received burst transmission from the TFB operators on Dark Moon. They confirm they are on the ground and procceeding to target.

Apparently they lost a man in the parachute drop so we better hope he did not go down in a populated area and alert enemy forces.

All being well we should have the men out within 48 hours and we can move on to the next stage of preparation for Sentinel Strike.

Mission Successfull.
We managed to take out all but one of the missile sites which was disabled but not destroyed. A small group hit the main camp causing heavy casualties within but did not manage to over run it.
Once the last SAM site was disabled the Alpha teams marked the main camp with a laser designator and called in the F14s which dropped 2 GBU 12s and levelled the whole area including the disabled SAM site. The remaining team members then went into extraction mode and headed for the North east coast as planned and were picked up at last light by the crew of the philidelphia. Reports from the captain suggest we took heavy losses on the ground but im sure you will agree that these are acceptable losses when you consider we now have air supremecy over Korea once again.

Hi Dan,

Following on from the after action reports from Dark Moon last week, we need to get a conference call sorted out in the next 48 hours between us, Langley, the Pentagon and Whitehall. They want to check that your boys are progressing and that you are up to date on the execution of the op.

Now the North have got to repair their air defences I feel this is our best chance to get men on the ground in their backyard. If we want any chance of getting Seoul back in full control we need a new front.

Subject: Media response to air campaign.

No doubt you've already had your evening brief on the latest media coverage in the east. As usual they are blowing it out of all proportion as our agents in P'yongyang have checked these locations to their ability.

I can confirm from our RAF hierachy that the bombs were dropped from 617 Squadron planes close to the school and hospital sites. One did enter the compound of hospital and destroy a number of lightly used buildings which may have been occupied, but loss of life is predicted to be low.

One of our men on the ground is employed in their national energy supply headquarters. He reported that the school was destroyed by a gas leak triggered by an unknown detonation, possibly as a result from a nearby bombardment. But another scenario is something to do with the air defences that were being used from within the perimeter, we knew of this situation but discovered the school still in operation so removed it from our target list.

As you well know, reports of schools and hospitals being destroyed does us no favours. I think we should consider a black strike to remove these news stations' capabilities, if only temporarily.

I just wanted to personally reassure you that the media storm from the raids last week will not come back to haunt you or your men. We've had confirmation that your bombs did not hit the school.

Your boys are doing a fine job Chris, the raids they are putting in around the clock are softening the North up as we hoped. The airborne guys are in final stages of preparation for H-hour so we'll get 617 some R and R after the weekend with any luck.

To give you a heads up, 617 has been tasked with hitting the communication and energy facilites in the Western districts of the City over the next 36 hours.

As of 11.00Hrs this morning we have taken control of the Norths SCUD systems. We hold the majority of the Military district and we have teams sweeping the area for remaining government officials. Heavy casualties were sustained by my men during the Operation but at present we are holding ground. I request more troops on our location ASAP this will aid in dealing with the prisoners we have for extraction and go some way to replacing my wounded.

General as asked i am informing you that we have made significant progress this week with the prisoners from Sentinel Strike.
My Agents tell me a number of the officials and the military commanders have given up information regarding weapons caches to be used in the event of invasion.
It would seem that they have contingency plans and we believe that we may soon see the start of some form of guerilla warfare campaign.
I am sending you the locations of the caches immediately and i would advise that men are dispatched to them ASAP i don't need to remind you General of the threat these cahces pose especially if you consider the Chemical weapons capability of the North and their willingness to use them. Please keep me informed General.
