Operation Huntsman, Combat Mission, AOW: Tour Of Duty ALEX 2
13-14th August 2011

Location: Bousso, Chad.
KGB National Army forces, working in conjunction with Task Force Blue, are attempting to drive DBR forces from the Bousso region of Chad during the run up to Victor Aluma's celebrations later in the year.

Situation:

Part of Stirling Airsoft's ongoing All Out War - Tour Of Duty series of airsoft games and combat mission for 2011.

Previous operations in this region of Chad, codenamed Mustang and Hawkeye, have proved to the military planners in N’Djamena that Bousso is not only a live operational area for the Divine Brotherhood of Roy, but appears that the roots are set deeper than the surface.  Hawkeye managed to remove key command and control elements of the local DBR hierarchy but failed to dominate the land it covered.

Since April, the DBR have been busy rebuilding from the losses of the local cleric and the ex-Chief of Police as well as the local cell commanders.  The will of Azear has meant that many have stepped forward to fill the voids left by the gains the KGB National Army and Task Force Blue made.

The DBR hierarchy have seen an opportunity to divert attention from N’Djamena and draw the nation’s security focus to Bousso.  This in turn should allow their teams attempting to infiltrate the capital for Victor Aluma’s celebrations more chance of success while also trying to re-establish a firmer grip in the south of Chad.

The KGBNA has pre-arranged this operation as part of an interior security sweep targeting known areas of DBR sympathy in advance of Aluma’s festivities; Bousso is of high importance to the Generals after the failure of the previous missions to bring a final conclusion to the region.

Teams

KGBNA: Desert or Multicam

TF Blue: Multicam

DBR: Civilian dress/ temperate camouflage

Mission

DBR: To disrupt KGBNA/TF Blue’s operations in Bousso sufficiently to draw focus from N’Djamena.  Maintain domination of their land and create a new stronghold for Azear’s will.

KGBNA/TF Blue: Deploy back into the previous area of operations and destroy the DBR presence.  Capture key command figures and intelligence to gain intelligence on any security threats to Victor Aluma’s celebrations in N’Djamena.

Many thanks to all who attended, it was a hard fought weekend with the DBR dominating the valley.  TF operations in that area are being withdrawn with view to a future offensive in November.....
