Operation: Urgent response

Location: Sudan

In the capital Khartoum, fierce fighting has suddenly erupted between the King of Sudan's tribal forces and a new Sudanese army lead by General Fyid . King Jubba – Jubba – Chuffa has asked for urgent assistance from western allies in this matter as the General's army is beginning to rampage throughout parts of the city.

The situation is spiraling out of control and threatens to destabilize the region.

Upon hearing this news from Khartoum, many governments have advised all foreign citizens to leave the capital immediately.

Hi , looking at the loadout requirements, will ACU be allowed for the Tribal Forces as it is "greenish".

ACU is normally associated as a "desert "camoflague. At the last catterick ACU did cause some confusion for this very reason.

Ye , I talked to Matt Belgrove in regards to this issue after posting this and I have decided susequently to only wear my rig (plate carrier and drop legs) over civvies to avoid such confusion. Thanks for reponse anyway.

Important info for operation Urgent Response.

Only pyro purchased from Stirling Airsoft will be able to be used at this event.

Do not bring pyro to this event, you must purchase it upon the day.

These are for Health and Safety reasons.

Any pyro that has not been purchased from Stirling Airsoft will be removed from the game and could result in any player carrying pyro not purchased from Stirling Airsoft to be placed in the sin bin.

All we are trying to do is to stop the use of certain types of Pyro that we don't think is safe! People bring all sorts of pyro that most wouldn't even pick up.

So it is for safety reasons that we have made this rule.

Pyro rules!!

Nothing more than mk5/9mm bfg inside or outside buildings.
Mil smokes are allowed outside of buildings. Not inside.
No military smokes inside buildings.


If a bang goes into a room. Any one in the room is dead unless behind hard cover!! Hard cover must sheild the entire body. A couple of ammo tins/bricks does not count as hard cover!!

All bangs are classed as grenades.

Outside or in open terrain. Mk5 kills within 5m/15' radius. Hard cover does apply!!

Smoke is smoke. Does not represent anything else!!

Any other pyro which has larger effects on game play will be used by a marshal and players will be told on the spot if they are within the blast area. Hard cover then may not apply!! And players will be asked to return to regen!

Building rules

The Firing of Weapons inside buildings is to be done preferably by pistols only however if your not carrying a pistol or a short, then for longs it is to be on a single shot basis only, ideally we would place a pistol only rule to take effect, but we are aware that not everybody carries a short, so if your entering any building please use your pistol or switch your long to single shot.
This is for game effectiveness as well as health & Safety (see also Bang Rule)

Once you are inside a building you may fire out from the building using your long & on full auto, you may also fire into a building using a long on full auto, it is once you enter the building you must abide by this pistol/single shot rule.
Anyone found to be breaking this rule will be sin binned or expelled from the game accordingly. This rule is in effect THROUGHT the WHOLE weekend. Day & Night.


The Bullshit Rule

Bullshit will not be tolerated on any stirling event.

This event is a role playing airsoft experience game. We are trying to maintain a high level of game play to create a realistic enviroment. If you want to shoot Mags upon mags of BB's let me know and I'll return your deposit. If however you want to play the game as its intended then see you very soon and keep upto date with all the info and news threads.

Any players arguing with ANYONE will be told to leave site immediately.

Timings for Info and game briefs.

Please dont be late for any of the briefs as they will continue without you. Game info is important for your enjoyment of the weekend.

Friday night. Arrival. You will be issued your map upon signing in
23:00hrs approx, King Jubba Jubba Chuffa will address his people,
Location TBA

Saturday.
09:30hrs – Safety Brief in the Safe zone square, All players must be present.

10:00hrs - Game brief at each HQ. TBA on the friday

10:30hrs – Players to be inserted into game zone.

11:00hrs - Game on.

23:00hrs - game stops

Sunday

07:30hrs – Game Re starts

11:00hrs - End Ex. All players must make their way to the Safe Zone for operation debrief and game results.

NO illegal pyro!!

Aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated of any kind.

Cheat calling /Hit calling what ever you wish to call it will not be tolerated. Tell a marshal immediately and they will deal with it. NOT three hours later, as the issue has passed!

Cheating will not be tolerated and you will leave site and be banned from all future events ran by Stirling Airsoft. Your name will also be passed on to other sites for their reference.

Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. You will Leave site.

The BANG rule is not enforced at stirling games so expect to be hit at close range within buildings (see firing in buildings rule). However at close range we do expect common sense from players.

Random Cronoing will be in operation at each regen area. Any weapons found to be over the limit will be ticketed and held in the site office until end of play sunday. All players are asked to ensure that your weapons are under the MAX FPS limits for our games. Crono will be available on Friday night for players to check. See a Marshall at the safezone. which will be marked on your map.

To all players that never need to be told any of the above during a game. Thanks for booking up and we hope you have a great airsofting experience with stirling Airsoft.

Had some great little battles, and plenty of times being scared out of my whits!... namely when following Stainsy through the tunnels and realising I had an accute fear of dark tunnels!  Oh well!!  Roll on the next 1

One of the best Catterick events I have attended.

Big thanks to those involved in organising it.

Highlight was spending several hours in the tower with Barrett Pete, with the two of us raining sniper death on anyone who ventured inside our 100 yard exclusion zone...

Also - thanks to Matt for running and getting myself and Dodgy Dave our Curry - even if you did make me come down to the tower to collect it...

Message from King Jubba Jubba Chuffa to his People of Khartoum

 I King Jubba Jubba Chuffa, the Nubian Bloodline King arranged A public holiday & parade, followed by an ambassadors Ball for my Daughter Phianky (CINDY's) birthday, Your King, my duaghter Daughter Cindy & my Son’s Hubba Hubba, Nubi Nubba  & BOB itin Chuffa  paraded through Khartoum on an open top vehicle convoy, My loyal tribal army oversaw the security of the of myself & my family & i entrusted  General Fyid & his National Guard to  police the event, to ensure a clear pass for us through the city & control peace on the streets, as rumours of the  Your kings unpopularity were rife in SM News & other propaganda tabloids & News Channels, somebody was playing spin doctor against the Me,

I JJC & My Heirs & Heiress stood to address the public in recognition of my daughters birthday, a vast crowd anticipated the sight of the beautiful princess, as she is truly the princess of the people, as we stood on the balcony waving & addressing the crowds,  a sniper took aim & fired just missing the princess’s head as the shot was shielded by her  ROYal security, this sparked chaos & the I was Furious and was taken aback not only by the attempt on my family but also by the response from General Fyid and his NG troops who claimed that it was infact the My loyal tribal army that instigated the assassination attempt & then set about trying to wipe out the Nubian tribal Army loyal to  me..

A battle ensued upon the streets of Khartoum and even your King himself was called to arms, as the NG troops looted & pillaged across the city & tried to eradicate the Kings Army into extinction,

What the general didn’t anticipate was that his army is made up of National Servicemen & army volunteers, yet  My army is made of fighters who’s Nubian ancestry bore the kings crest for centuries, it was an honour to be a kings Warrior following in the footsteps Of their fathers & theirs before them.
This passion shone through, as the Tribal Warriors Fought With honour & they were willing to give their last drop of blood, The Loyal Tribal Army were Inspired to save Khartoum from what was awash trough the city.

As Radio Chuffa Blasted inspirational rythms & words of encouragement to my loyal fighters they PUSHED ON!

The dog General Fyid confiscated ammo Cache’s and rescued a spy who had apparently helped orchestrate the conspiracy.

He even tried to bleed Khartoum of its monetary standing & treasury, General Fyid tried everything in his power to dethrone your King in what was becoming increasingly obvious as a  military coup

The General was beginning to see that he was losing the arm wrestle & headed north of Khartoum with what bounty he had managed to hold, his troops leaving a strong line of defence, buying  the general time to go into hidinglike the cowering dog he is.

The crackle of gun fire still rings out as the troops of the NG still hold a line just within the boundary of the city, but the Kings Tribal Army was valiant in pushing the deranged general Fyid into a corner & trying to organise peace back to Khartoum. I want to thank my  Warriors for their loylaty & servitude, once we rid our city completelty & the generals head is brought before me, we will rejoice in celebration.

Thegra Mombagassso the ROYal guard who took the bullet for princess cindy passed away from the severity of his wounds, Chuffa FM will broadcast a memorial service for him & all those tribal fighters who had their spirit lifted from their bodies to save your King & his family.
You can tune into this service on Chuffa FM 87.9 King Of Radio bringing you The Sound OF Sudan on Sunday afternoon at 3pm.

Had a great weekend.  It was my first time at Catterick and
I will certainly be going back for the next one
It was a hard fought battle on both sides and the gameplay
was excellent throughout.  Funniest moment was watching
desert throwing grenades from the top of the tower down to
building 50.  Good work there.  Also some cracking sniping
from the tower as well.  I got nailed at the back of 31.
Kudos to the sniper in question.
