Operation : Nomad Force. Catterick Urban Operations 15/17th Aug

Operation: Nomad Force

Location: Khartoum Sudan

Situation: Two months on from the assassination attempt upon King Jubba Jubba Chuffa during his daughter the Princess birthday celebrations and following General Fyid’s attempted military coup. The city of Khartoum is a boiling pot of unrest with the region on the brink of civil war. The king’s loyal guards remain in control of the streets but it is a tenuous grasp at best with General Fyids rebels harassing and attacking police and King’s guard patrols at every turn. Fyid himself has remained out of site since his failed coup but he still commands his loyal followers into action against the Tribal King. The Generals links with Defence corps has ensured his men remain well armed and well equipped now that the DC has moved into fulltime Arms Dealing over Personal Security Detail work. Coalition Special Forces have set up HQ within Khartoum and are tasked to carry out operations against enemies of the state. Tasked to ensure the King remains in power they will work independently of local forces to counter the threat of disloyal troops on the Kings side.

Intel: Task Force Black:
24 man detachment of multinational task force ordered to ensure the Kings continuing reign therefore protecting future UK military operations in North Africa.

General Fyid:
Leader of Sudanese National Guard
Known to be orchestrating attacks upon Royals and elected government members thought to be planning a second coup attempt with full backing of International Revolutionary Council.

King Jubba Jubba Chuffa:
Tribal King of Khartoum Remains in power thanks to loyal subjects but must rely heavily on UK military intervention to maintain control as the country rapidly approaches civilwar.

Defence Corps:                  Former private military company (PMC).
Reputation destroyed after investigation into illegal activities in N’Djamena Chad last year forced them to retire from personal security circuit. They have reinvented themselves and secured a healthy slice of the profit to found from supplying military grade weapons to anyone andeveryone

Important info for operation Nomad Force

Only pyro purchased from Stirling Airsoft will be able to be used at this event.

Do not bring pyro to this event, you must purchase it upon the day.

This is for Health and Safety reasons.

Any pyro that has not been purchased from Stirling Airsoft will be removed from the game and could result in any player carrying pyro not purchased from Stirling Airsoft to be placed in the sin bin.

All we are trying to do is to stop the use of certain types of Pyro that we don't think is safe! People bring all sorts of pyro that most wouldn't even pick up.

So it is for safety reasons that we have made this rule.

Pyro rules!!

Nothing more than mk5/9mm bfg inside or outside buildings.
Mil smokes are allowed outside of buildings. Not inside.
No military smokes inside buildings.

If a bang goes into a room. Any one in the room is dead unless behind hard cover!! Hard cover must sheild the entire body. A couple of ammo tins/bricks does not count as hard cover!!

All bangs are classed as grenades.

Outside or in open terrain. Mk5 kills within 5m/15' radius. Hard cover does apply!!

Smoke is smoke. Does not represent anything else!!

Any other pyro which has larger effects on game play will be used by a marshal and players will be told on the spot if they are within the blast area. Hard cover then may not apply!! And players will be asked to return to regen!

Building rules

The Firing of Weapons inside buildings is to be done preferably by pistols only however if your not carrying a pistol or a short, then for longs it is to be on a single shot basis only, ideally we would place a pistol only rule to take effect, but we are aware that not everybody carries a short, so if your entering any building please use your pistol or switch your long to single shot.
This is for game effectiveness as well as health & Safety (see also Bang Rule)

Once you are inside a building you may fire out from the building using your long & on full auto, you may also fire into a building using a long on full auto, it is once you enter the building you must abide by this pistol/single shot rule.
Anyone found to be breaking this rule will be sin binned or expelled from the game accordingly. This rule is in effect THROUGHT the WHOLE weekend. Day & Night.

The Bullshit Rule

Bullshit will not be tolerated on any stirling event.

This event is a role playing airsoft experience game, and this event will rely heavily on the role playing element. We are trying to maintain a high level of game play to create a realistic enviroment. If you want to shoot Mags upon mags of BB's let me know and I'll return your deposit. If however you want to play the game as its intended then see you very soon and keep upto date with all the info and news threads.

Any players arguing with ANYONE will be told to leave site immediately.

Timings for Info and game briefs.

Please dont be late for any of the briefs as they will continue without you. Game info is important for your enjoyment of the weekend.

Friday night. Arrival. You will be allowed on site from 19:00hrs please do not attempt to gain access before this time as the staff are preparing the site for the weekend!

this is a 25 hour event there will be no designated breaks or downtime, this is to be co-ordinated by your CO /leader.

Saturday.
09:30hrs – Safety Brief in the Safe zone square, All players must be present.

10:00hrs - Game brief at each HQ. TBA on the friday

10:30hrs – Players to be inserted into game zone.

11:00hrs - Game on.

Sunday

11:00hrs - End Ex. All players must make their way to the Safe Zone for operation debrief and game results.

Remember!
NO illegal pyro
!!

Aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated of any kind. If you experience any problems contact a marshall immediatly to resolve the issue, do not take matters into your own hands or leave an issue until after the event has happenned or until you return to the safe zone as it makes it difficult for us to resolve the issue.

Cheat calling /Hit calling what ever you wish to call it will not be tolerated. Tell a marshal immediately and they will deal with it. NOT three hours later, as the issue has passed! Cheating will not be tolerated and you will leave site and be banned from all future events ran by Stirling Airsoft. Your name will also be passed on to other sites for their reference.

Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. You will Leave site.

The BANG rule is not enforced at stirling games so expect to be hit at close range within buildings (see firing in buildings rule). However at close range we do expect common sense from players.

Random Cronoing will be in operation at each regen area. Any weapons found to be over the limit will be ticketed and held in the site office until end of play sunday. All players are asked to ensure that your weapons are under the MAX FPS limits for our games. Crono will be available on Friday night for players to check. See a Marshall at the safezone. which will be marked on your map.

To all the players that never need to be told any of the above during a game Thanks for booking up and we hope you have a great airsofting experience with stirling Airsoft.

Operation Nomad Force

This event as stated will have elementts of Roleplaying, your commander will brief you on objectives to be conducted throughout the course of Operation Nomad Force, these objectives will earn your team a points tally these points will gain your side money, this money will allow your COMMANDER to interact with the  Banker to withdraw your cash, with the cash your COMMANDER can liase with the defence coprs (arms dealers) to purchase different elements of munitions that may give you an advasntage over your enemy, for example, the defence corps will have a list of ammunition, or explosives you can buy with the money your side has earned.
this may be an explosive device, however to use the explosive device you will need a trigger switch, det cable etc etc, this will also have to be purchased from the Defence Corps, in order to carry out an explosion you will need to purchase all the components to make the device effective! to do this you will need to earn your team money! to earn money your you have to carry out the tasks given to you by your COMMANDER. in essence it is imperative that any mission you are tasked to do, is carried out as this will have a knock on effect for your army/team.
you will all play a part in the bigger picture! so you may think holding a building is a nonsence job or waste of time but you will actually be gaining your commander the ability to purchase weapons or explosives etc etc or you may be holding the key building for a strike point? all elements are important & the weekend will rely upon teamwork, communication & interaction.

Only Commanders will have the ability to access the Bank, & purchase goods from the arms dealers, but you may be tasked to act as a PSD team or a forward recce team etc etc you will be involved in the roleplay element, so please be aware that there may be times when a character will approach you, treat this as a realtime situation, interact with them & respond accordingly.

you will be given objectives by your commander, they will be told of these just prior to game on, this way the intel is more realistic,
Remember vantage points create points & waht do points make??? Cash!! which may just win that victory for you.
everything has an outcome, but there can only be one Victorious team,
Will the King Maintain his seat on the throne of Power or has the General enough military might & backing to topple the royal crown & be the new King of Khartoum.

its now upto you.

Just a few pointers for the weekend!
Hubba Bubbas Balti house will be open this saturday from 8 till late (or until sold out) this is located at building 28 (in game)  you will be able to get takeaway curries from the balti spice girls. remember this is in game & during the game, last time stocks sold out very quick so if your feeling hungry why not pop along to Hubba Bubba's balti house. make sure you take money out with ya! credit not accepted!

ALSO

There will be a  curfew in effect on this event  that will run from 23:00hrs  on the saturday until 07:ooHrs sunday morning.

The game will still be running during this timescale &  physical objectives must be held & moved every hour accordingly. (see game sheet on your map to be issued at the gate)

Task force black will issue & police the curfew & will shoot &  arrest anyone found  to be out & about around the city.
If you are arrested you will be fined and a penalty of 10Points off your teams tally will be issued as punishment.
you will then be released unless frther questioning is warranted! where you will be taken to a detaining cell for questioning.

You will be expected to complete objectives throughout the night, so you must use stealth & cunning to move objectives or to find & locate objectives! You do not have to go to ground you can still move around the city, just be cunning & stealthy.

The capture/seizure of commanders (tagged members) will cease during the curfew! if you do capture a tagged member of the opposing force & you bring them in for the catch to be verified you run the risk of both being arrested and fined.

the curfew does not stop the game but adds a dimension to the nightime missions.

see you at the weekend
