Gentlemen regarding our conversation yesterday i can confirm the aspects of the mission as we discussed.
Coleman and his men will begin operation Noble Light on saturday morning allowing enough time for his men already on the ground to complete the intel gathering required.
Regarding your decision to allow Hubba Bubba Chuffa to accompany Task Force Black into the city as ambassador for Nubbi Nubbi i must stress unease at the prospect. I believe that we should move him into posistion at a safe location and should the oportunity arise we bring him in to head any negotiations with the King. I feel it poses a major threat to his security and the success of the mission to have him so close to Bobitin and Fyid before we even have a foothold in Khartoum. In the event of him being snatched we would have to divert already stretched manpower to retrieve him and at what cost would that be acheived?

I trust my concerns on this matter are duly noted and pray that all goes well for if the media were to get hold of such information the job center would be very busy on monday morning.

just had a very interesting meeting with Cygnet, as you know he has just returned from Bulgaria where he was meeting some of his old contacts on the arms circuit it would appear that Alexandria has recently become one of the best weapons markets in the world possibly due to the amount of weapons coming out of former soviet union towards middle east.

Cygnet claims he was present at a meeting between several different factions all bidding on old russian and state of the art military hardwear. If true we can be assured that several middle eastern groups are now the proud owners of modern surface to air missile systems along with certain Russian and eastern european crime groups purchasing large shipments of automatic weapons.
But what really peaked Cygnets interest was the presence of a retired russian officer Colonel Viktor Djorkkaeff you will recall his name from the Siberian uprising led by Alexander Vaskorov. He was in charge of ground troops sent to quash the uprising but mysteriously retired immediatly after and has dropped off the radar since then.

According to Cygnet  Djorkkaeff  was making very discreet enquires regarding Novichney 17 and as to where one may be purchased. It could be that Djorkkaeff is in fact not retired but working a deniable Op for the russkies who we know kicked up a shit storm to keep the Novichney story quiet so he could be on damage control. or alternativly he could be looking to branch out himself possibly bears a grudge against mother Russia. But at this point we just dont know for sure so ive requested access to all files on the Colonel and we will see if anything flags up.

also another name to run through system although it could be an alias Mohammed Al Je Geeri. Ive never heard of him but Cygent says he must be a player by the way he was treated at the meeting.

Everything seems to have turned out as planned in Sudan anyway now we just need to hope Nubbi Nubbi proves to be a good king not a shitweasle trouble maker.
Must say id like a chance to get back into Khartoum and confirm the stories that Bob itin is alive and well just so i can take him out myself.

We ran the name Mohammed Al Je Geeri through the system and it seems you were on the money with it being an Alias his real name is Alhena Junaid Geeri. And we know him..

Born 1969 Morocco son of an Irish steel worker named Ardel Geeri
and a Moroccon prostitute named Ahseia Saliha. 
Born in Morocco he arrived in Ireland aged just 6 months and remained until his early 20s when he upsticks and left to go travelling with some friends. The friends returned after 3 months but Geeri wasnt with them. They said hed made some new friends in Paris and had agreed to carry on travelling with them when his mates ran out of money.
We only know this because it happened in 1993 just after an IRA bomb exploded outside a chip shop in Belfast killing 2 and wounding 16. Nothing to tie these two events together until you factor in the fact that young Geeris uncle was infact Sean Geeri the notorious bomb maker and the RUC bomb boys confirmed the device as one of Geeris  from evidence linked directly to one of Geeris previous creations. Only problem is Sean Geeri was 3 years into life at the Maze after being caught with enough C4 and liquid nitrogen to litterally bring down a city.
Of course he was shall we say interviewed by MI5 and even 6 had a few words but he stuck to story he knew nothing about the chip shop bomb. Although after some serious persausion he did admit to passing on some knowlegde to his nephew Alhena who it seemed had expressed an interest in the cause.
Sure enough prints found on the device matched thos taken from Alhenas flat. But by this time he was travelling although i think we can safely say that was a cover.

 2 Years later he was spotted on SKY news footage in Kosovo by an old school teacher who recognised him and called us.

It gets sketchy from here because we nearly picked him up after the war ended in Yugoslavia but he escaped the snatch team sent in to get him and then nothing until now apart from unconfirmed sightings in Afghanistan and the Chad.

Speak to Cygnet again and find out where Geeri is at present then i want you out there getting eyes on. If he has resurfaced then something is about to happen and your going to stop it Jock.

EAST TIMOR
Seems the Australians have done themselves proud out in East Timor my contacts believe they have eliminated any major PPF threat after the conclusion of Operation Matilda. Situation over there is BSP now working alongside interim Australian government until early spring next year when the BSP will officially assume control.
The name Benito Dominguez has cropped up several times with people ive spoken too apparently arrived with members of the BSP under the banner of finance minister but turns out hes some kind of spook so i feel knowing this that we should make contact with him never hurt to have our own man on the ground out there.

MOHAMMED AL JE GEERI/ ARDEL GEERI
I have teams working on Geeri right now and as of last night he was staying in a rented apartment in Paris having done what seems to be a whistle stop tour of Europe in past 7 days. My teams tracked him through Belgium, Budapest, Rome, and back to Paris. i will receive full debrief from team leader in next 12 hours so if anything major has changed i will update you but as of yet we have nothing to suggest hes active or working with active cells. But if he is my man will spot it and we will be able to act.

IQUMAIR SALAT
No further sightings since he cropped up in Timor but he is on every watch list we have so cant move freely without us pinging him.

Surveillance update

Date:17/01/10
Location: Catanzaro Southern Italy

Red team followed suspect Mohammed Al Je Geeri to San Remo a small coastal town west of Nice in Southern France tracking devices on his vehicle allowed him to be followed from great distance reducing the risk of compromise. He departed San Remo in the early hours of the 14th arriving in Catanzaro 08:15 on the 16th meeting with four people at a small cafe in the Armenian quarter of the city.
At 15:30 Geeri in possesion of a briefcase met again with 2 of the males from the cafe and left his hotel in their vehicle. Gold team were able to follow the group to Plautius park and maintain covert surveillance throughout the park.

15 minutes later the 3 men met with a middle eastern female who relieved Geeri of the briefcase in return for a mobile phone. The female was followed to the carpark where she departed on the back of a waiting scooter we got the reg plate and have tracked the vehicle to an address in Cosenza i have a team watching the apartment now.
Within minutes of her departure Geeri recieved a call on the mobile and our tecs managed to pick it up.
We ran the callers voice and can confirm his ID as an Iranian exile named Immad Azfurk. Azfurk is old school from the Maddrassa's in Tehran but he has been silent for the last 20 years several of our friendly intelligence counterparts actually have him listed as deceased.
But you will see from the transcript he is not only alive but extremely proactive.

Praise his will praise the Affliction we will bring them to their knees

The Russian sent us a man he bought files many many files old aswell. i cannot go into what is in the files i will have to tell you that face to face for it is to important to risk on these supoosidly secure lines.

Geeri:
I pray it is important enough that we may use it to crush the enemy in one foul swoop but i trust that you will tell more when the time is right brother.

Azfurk:
The time is right now my friend you should come to us all 3 of us will make this happen together and the world will know our name and fear our wrath. I am with Brother Salat come to us as soon as you have finished your European operation we will await your arrival.

The operation is in its final stages everything is in place and now we wait the day is not that far away now.

Azfurk:

The call lasted under 2 minutes and so we were unable to trace location but Azfurk mentioned he was with Brother Salat which could be Iqumar Salat in which case he is East Timor or maybe Indonesia. We know Salat is a KOA controller and we have the Australian SASR in East Timor looking for him at present but he went to ground last september during their Operation Bartos.
Azfurk also mentioned Azear and we know the KOA is Knights Of Azear so it would be fair to say that both Geeri and Azfurk are also KOA.
It would suggest that the KOA is in the final stages of an operation in Europe but we have nothing our threat level is still critical based on the foiled attack on tower bridge last year but we have recieved no new intel to suggest further attacks.

Sir you need to kick COBRA up the arse at the next meeting they must up security nationwide i firmly believe these attacks will be targeting Britain the KOA see us as the murderers of Azear and will strike with no mercy.
We must locate Azfurk and Salat and i recommend we move on Geeri who at present should be touching down in Morrocco on flight 3147
I have eyes on the plane and teams waiting in the airport. I will join the Morroccon teams in the next 72 hours but first i want to check out the scooter apartment in Cosenza. I will let you know what i find

Im sure you will receive word as expected regarding some unorthodox procedures but just remember to play out the media as we discussed this unit must build a name for itself the name SOCA must spread fear throughout the enemies networks. With accusations of brutality and extortion surrounding them we will achieve our goals.
Remember Thomas its all an illusion we made sure these men are incorruptible and now we must let them loose and trust them to do their job.

Our intention to make our presence felt was carried out like a swift hammer blow across the Puktis Valley region, our profile & apperance was kept covered but they knew we were in town.
our tactics were as per our remit & the unauthodox approach paid dividends Sir.
my men worked within their scope of permissions & certain blind eyes were turned but only for the greater good sir!

our intention to trace the opium big wigs unearthed a little more than we expected & the terror plot on mainland Britian has hopefully been scupperred, im sure you have been copied in on the debrief sir.

alot was gained from this mission & we know have some other key figures to keep tabs on.
the Shopkeeper, seemed to be carrying some unauthorised goods which means he is a hot tail along with the jordainian we released Mehmet, it is my request that your SI7 agents closely watch these characters as i feel this may lead to the bigger fish we are hoping to fry.

the hornets nest that has been kicked has certainly stirred things up, both myself & agent william jackson have recieved communication  from an unknown scource with a message from Ikramullah Sheikh Umar Mohammed, we have also recieved the usual threats.. i would like you to trace the following number s(encoded)  ************* and *************it was an internationa number but could be via mainland britian.

the applecart has been turned over & they are not happy sir! this tells me that our presence in Paktia was a success.

i have seen the emails and listened to the phone calls from Ikramullah Sheikh Mohammed and i have passed on the threat to those who need to know. if it is to be believed they will attack at some point over this coming weekend and i have placed agents from both S.O.C.A and SI7 at all ports of entry as well as potential targets such as transport terminals and government installations.

You have my full authority to carry out any Op you deem necessary to stop these people achieving their goals.

Message to : All heads of station.

Ladies and Gentlemen we are seeing the rise of new powers on the IRAQ / AFGHANISTAN theatres.

Operations in the Puktia regions or Northern Afghanistan in january revealed the presence of a new figure head in the form of Ikramullah shiekh Umar Mohammed (subject to various diffrences). We have recently recieved intel suggesting that he is dead after battles with UK forces.
But we also have confirmed comms traffic that states he is alive and active. I am placing this intel as highest priority for those working on Afghan Ops and you will liase with those teams asigned to European Ops after his involvement in the transport terminal siege. I want all angles covered for when he tries again and be assured it is a case of when not if he tries again.

Be advised on the 28th of this month UK and US forces from 2Para and 10th Mountain division respectivley will begin Op Noble Freedom in Garmser south of Helmand province and i want all pertinent intel available to those boys on the ground. Essentially a hearts and minds Op to win over the local populus you should all be well aware by now that the situation could and probably will get nasty quickly. Previous operations in this region have gone from good to bad within minutes and both UK and US forces have lost good men. I say again we need all pertinent intel available.

Last weekends fighting in Iraq has thrown up a whole new set of problems in a region we thought was finally settling down it would seem that both the Sunnis and the Shia are willing to put aside problems in a bid to rid our troops from the area.

Jamail Malik himself approached UK commanders in the early hours of the battle but his demands were deemed unacceptable and he was rightly turned away leading to an increase in Sunni UK fighting.

Abraheem AL Slabbah also approached Commanders and a deal of sorts was brokered to draw the Sunnis into a trap and let AL Slabbah's Supreme Council of Revolution finish them off but unfortunatly he couldnt control all his men and this led to large scale fighting between Shia and UK troops.

As your all well aware SI7 as an agency have advised Downing street time and time again that the only way to control that area is to assist the Shia in seizing control from the ruling Sunni factions but as expected they still beleive they can play both sides of against each other using political sway alongside promises of cash aid for rebuilding. We know this approach is flawed from its inception and neither the Sunni or Shia will accept the terms of such a deal which effectivly sees the ruling party as western puppets.

I have dispatched SI7 agents to both theatres and they have already began sending home valuable intel on key players and locations.

Teams have also been sent back into CHAD after reports from an asset there have claimed a steady rise in attacks on Tuwkanis regime and what appears to be the first cracks in the power sharing deal between the president and the KGB who have ruled together since the ejection of the DBR 2 years ago.
Downing street have already spoken of troop deployment before the summer monsoons begin so again be aware of any intel links between theatres no matter how weak if we go back in we need to be better prepared than last time.

I expect to hear from all heads of station within the next week before Op Noble freedom begins. This is an chance to gain the advantage over our enemy we must exploit it while we can.

Danny old boy just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the new family hopefully we can continue where we left off in Kosovo. Ericson will be sorely missed as a good man and a fearless operative but there will be time to greive later as im sure you will agree and beleive me when i say he wouldnt of wanted anyone else succeding him at S.O.C.A.

Right down to a bit of buisness before we meet on saturday Off the books buisness of course.

You wont be aware yet just how involved i am in what will now be your operations but dont let that worry you im sure you remember how i run my Ops so you will have a long lead to work on i just ask to be kept in the loop and ill do the same. Ericson, Booer and myself conceived the S.O.C.A remit and both you and SI7 will be working closely together in the future. officially its two agencies but im sure you will appreciate the need for the close relationship. Anyway i digress i just wanted to let you know that we responded after Barry was killed.

Within 48 hours Booer was in Bogota and had tracked Salazar to one of his many hideouts in the barrios. using one of his confidential sources in the city he launched an attack against Salazar.

Jaun Pablo Dertee Sanchez was known to Salazar as a low level bag man used for smaller hits and intimidation jobs. Booer armed Sanchez and sent him into the barrio with orders to make entrance and identify the correct residence. Phase one complete Booer moved into posistion and gave Sanchez the order to strike but it quickly became evident that Salazar suspected such tactics and had surrounded himself with women and children in his apartment, regardless Sanchez proceeded with the attack and several shots were fired into the apartment until according to Booer Salazar himself fired the shots into Sanchez severing his arm at the elbow The body toppled over the railing into the busy street below leaving Booer with no option to but to abort the hit or risk compromise and civilian casulties that would be difficult to explain.

Salazar has dropped of the grid and it is thought he has gone into the mountains untill this has blown over.

I want you to keep him at the front of your mind Danny first chance we get i want him dead or alive by whatever means neccesary.

Mr Brockenhurst you may remember me from the sydney joint service seminar 2 years ago ive recently been promoted to head of field ops for GD8. Im hoping you may be able to help with some intel ive picked up from our SF guys operating in East Timor.

Weve picked up a trail that has lead us to suspect there may at this time be an invisible on the ground in or around Dili. We believe the target, details of which we have none confirmed hence the title invisible arrived in East Timor a week ago in the far north east and has been making way towards the capital avoiding main travel routes. Our Intel suggests the target may be some kind of bomb maker or similar specialist and the obvious fear here is that the plan is to disrupt the upcoming election due to take place next week.

Its fair to say the likely hood is the invisible will infact be male as female movement in the capital is of course hampered by religous laws but thats not to say were ruling it out.

We beleive the target will or has already made contact with a controller to recieve final orders. our listening post out of Darwin intercepted a phone call between a former member of the PPF rebel group and an unknown party in Jakarta. the call was made using some kind of scrambnling device but our operater managed to pick out one word. NOVICHNEY. I know this to be some kind of old Soviet weapons system but the Moscow will not talk to me and i know from the report sheets recently you Brits have had encounters with such a system. I need a full threat assessment ASAP
If we are to have any chance at stopping a possible attack we must locate and find our target before Dili hosts the elections. and that is less than than 7 days away. Any assistance you can offer will be greatly recieved.

Sorry for the delay but its been frantic here since the weekend.
Im aware you have been briefed by Hogan but let me fill you in on some new details.

At approx 09:30 Hrs on sunday morning our SASR operatives recieved reliable intel on the location of the target package.
10:00Hrs the assualt went in and all hostiles were eliminated (you will recieve full listings of the dead shortly but trust me we cleared some big names this time).
During the assault one of the hostiles had threatended to detonate a device he claimed was the dirty bomb the target was taken down and the device secured but upon further investigation we discovered vital components missing from the device to make it truly effective. In its current capacity the device would have indeed exploded and killed anyone in a hundred meter range the feared dirty bomb component was infact white phosperus deadly enough but not in way classed as radioactive.

We had a HAZMAT team on standby in a secure holding area and they were then taken in to the target to carry out the tests.
The HAZMAT team registered high levels depleted uranium throughout the target buildings but none was found on location. thermal imagary has shown no trace of the Uranium near Dili or anywhere else in East Timor but these tests are not wrong. So that means at some time according to the HAZMAT guys in the last 7 days this area has played host to something leaking high levels of radiation and the general opinion here is that whatever it was it has been repackaged to hide the radiation signiture.

Dili has been placed on high alert.
We also found comms kit and laptops containing emails which mention the HMMA terror group from Afghanistan.

I feel we must consider the possibility that this second device is infact headed somewhere else to another theatre possibly Afgahnistan or Iraq or Even Africa. These groups have ties in almost every conflict zone across the world it is by no means far fetched to see a deal struck here strike a blow on the other side of the world.

I urge you to pass this on to who needs to know and be alert we have no idea where this thing is or where its headed.

Giving you Brits the heads up on a situation devolping out here.

We have just picked up comms traffic that spoke specifically of a major transaction taking place here in the next 5 days. It would appear the Mabeke rebels have alligned themselves with elements of your old pals the IRC and struck a deal to bring a shipment of weapons and drugs into Maiduguri and then onto Chad. It seems the IRC have their eyes on moving back into Nd'Jamena. there has been a large increase in comms chatter in and out of CHAD for the past 2 months and we believe this may be the starting point of a larger offensive to retake the city.

Local sources are claiming that the Mabeke rebels have several well equipped drug labs in the city all fully operational and ready to begin refining raw product.
This is not usual MO for these guys they would normally be punishing drug workers but it appears that the IRC have persuaded them otherwise in an attempt to secure their weapons and fighters to move nto the CHAD.

I will update you of any further developments
