Message to : Sir Jonathan Brockenhurst SI7 cc Jim Deveraux CIA Message from : Captain Simmons Task Force Black
Real Time from Maiduguri
Simmons: Sir as you now know we have established eyes on a key player named Abudug Mankin we can confirm him as a major player within the IRC hierarchy. Mr Deveraux's people had already breached Mankins phones and email when we arrived and at 14:00 hrs today they reported he was due to meet a 2nd party at a cafe just off the main square.
If you look at your sattellite image screens you will see the cafe highlighted in red and the blue markers you can see is my team in position to follow Mankin whichever way he goes after the meet. if you look on the second screen you will see real time footage of the cafe and the man facing the street with the long hair is Mankin he has been on location for 1 hour the other gentleman is at present unknown but i have sent pictures to be ran through the facial recognition system. We are waiting for the results now.
Deveraux: Captain do you intend to follow Mankin after the meet or are you in a posistion to lift him out?
Simmonds: I have a team in place that can lift him after he leaves the meet if ordered but i feel confident that we can afford to let him take the line a while before we strike. We already have eyes on 2 of his known addresses courtesy of your guys at Langely and we may be able to pick up more leads if we allow him some freedom to move. If at any point he looks like he could be getting itchy well snatch him up.
Brockenhurst: Excellent work Lee. I agree let Mankin run but lets keep him close with the shipment arriving so soon Mankin is going to be busy we need photos of anyone he meets and i want the live feed running at all times. contact me as soon as you know any more
Simmonds: Roger that Sir see you on the flip side

Message to : Prime Minister Message from : Sir Jonathan Brockenhurst SI7
Prime Minister im just letting you know we have taken the first steps in the Maiduguri problem at exactly 21:15 this evening local time i gave the green light for special forces to conduct a snatch and grab operation on a confirmed target weve been watching the past 36 hours his name is Abudug Mankin and we have confirmed intel stating him as a card carrying IRC member.
My Task Force Black team carried out a solid 24 hour surveillence and they have garnered a great deal of valuble intel from watching Mankin and after viewing some of the intel we have so far it was decided that this man was to valuble to let slip away so i i gave the order to move on the target.
Mankin was picked up without incident as he left a hotel after spending time with one of his mistresses. He is at present being questioned by my best man and im confident we will have some news soon.
I will keep you informed as things develop.

Sir we have had some interseting developments over the last 24 hours regarding the CHAD situation the Task Force Black teams have picked up several communications between high ranking Kanem Guera Brotherhood officials and what appears to be members of our old friends the DBR. it would appear they have put aside any differences they had to concentrate on getting rid of tuwkani judging by the comms we intercepted they dont plan to wait very long either.
we may have serious problems within the next 7 to 10 ten days if we dont intercept the remaining shipments from camaroon. As you are aware we managed to stop a great portion of weapons and hawalla funds getting across into chad but the still have a lot of drugs flooding into the region. i have sent instructions to my guy at TFB and he will in turn brief the Commander of the Rifles when he arrives.
our main threat at present lies in there ability to raise funds through import and export of drugs as you can imagine this will allow more weapons to be purchased and more money to be funnled through to international cells waiting to strike at the west.
I trust you agree with my judgement prime minister and will back any moves made by our men on the ground.
I will keep you informed as things develop.

Situation report 22.00 Local time CHAD
S
A good day today we picked up a suspect who is at present being prepped for questioning Gold team picked him up just outside a market square in the center of N'Djamena a clean lift no witnesses no trace. We had been watching him over the weekend and he crossed paths with several high profiles so we thought wed have a little chat
we also have confirmed 2 suspected drug labs in the city and details have been passed onto Task Force Black who now have eyes on.
Ive heard several whispers of some kind of rally or press conference here over the weekend nothing has been offically announced but i can see the tension on the streets. One of my local guys claims that Tuwkani himself will be speaking alongside Aluma so who knows how that will turn out but i would put money on fucking badly im sure you will agree? I plan to put some guys in there when it happens mainly local assets but also at least one of my guys they wont be able to do much if it kicks off but well have first hand intel with men on the ground as it happens.
Thats all ive got untill we talk to the suspect

Prime minister im sorry to disturb you on a saturday but ive just recieved news of a potential uprising in Kazakhstan near the Russian border. It seems a breakaway group calling themselves the Yermak sepratists have appeared on the scene demanding independance from Kazakhstan and Russia itself.
We dont know anything of any relevance about these Yermaks at present but i have 2 of my men on the way to Kazakhstan as we speak and they will get us more details.
Im due to come in and see you on monday regarding the North korea situation report so hopefully i will have more intel for you by then.

My men have sent back initial reports from Kazakhstan and i must inform you Prime minister the situation does not look good. Russian forces have mobilised close to the border and are sending a clear message to Kazakh authoritys STOP THE YERMAKS OR WE WILL.
In my opinion this situation gives us an oppurtunity to keep the russians in place following intel that that they have offered assistance along with China to help the remaining north korens forces regroup on foreign soil.
If you will recall we faced a similar problem a couple of years ago with Russia sending guerilla warfare experts to train North Korean troops in the fight against coalition forces on the Korean peninsula. at that time the CIAs special operations group stepped in with the desired effect.
i propose the same thing here we should infiltrate men into the Yermaks to keep an eye on the uprising this way we can make sure they dont get out of control and we can keep the russians busy on the homefront again as im sure your well aware they will do almost anything to avoid internal troubles at home.
One major point of concern from my men on the ground is they have heard several whispers of a weapon touted as the sword of Yermak. At present we have no intel to suggest this being a real threat or even what kind of weapon it could be. But we are looking into it and i have put the word around amongst more friendly arms dealers that should they hear mention of such a weapon or indeed components to make such a thing they are to contact us directly with an incentive of reward.
im expecting more intel within the next couple of days so i will update you as and when.

Positive ID on the the leader of the Yermak Sepratists his name is AFON BOGATYR translated as Immortal Warrior. Yesterday saw the Kazakh government withdraw the remaining troops from the Kazakh 1st Army corps defeated isnt really the word routed is more like it.
Bogatyr announced his plans to take the Pavlodar Province and establish his sepratist headquarters. Ive spoke personally with the man and he strikes me as a man worth watching. our cover as guns for hire seems to have placated him on the basis we pass on skills to his men most of which are farmers who have served only compulsory national service.
What we know so far is that he is well supplied but as yet we dont know by who other than he is alleged former Russian military so that will shorten the list of weapons dealers but not by much.
I took a drive out near the border last night and once you get within 2 miles of it the Russian presence is unmistakable i could see helicopters bringing in troops and equipment enmasse but you will be pleased to hear they show no signs of crossing over yet although i fear it wouldnt be long should the Kazakhs fail to stop them taking Pavlodar.

The Pavlodar situation has stabilised to some degree at least. As of today Russian forces have pulled back to the border and talks have commenced with the Yermaks who still maintain control of the province. I see from the lack of media coverage that you were succesfull in gagging the press regarding what happened with the device. I can confirm there intention was to detonate the device at the Volgorod pipeline which im sure your aware would mean a major winter shortage of oil for the west thankfully the threat was averted the Russians had possesion of some major components and our local asset was able to lift another component away from the Yermaks. One concern is that with the Yermaks keeping hold of Pavlodar we remain on thin ice. They are still in possesion of some major components that would allow them to attempt to build a 2nd device and we seriously misjudged their intentions as it would seem they are as keen to strike at the west as the are the Russians. We now face a very real and serious threat of attack from possible cells across europe and it wont be long before they have there hands on the pieces they are missing. I believe we have not broken the cover for of our ground teams in place amongst the rebels and i propose we leave them in place indefinatley with the task of tracking and retrieving the components before they can be used against us at some later date. Just a quick heads up before you cross into CHAD. The battle group is now at FOB Theron and will conduct short operations in the local area as they acclimatise before moving into seize control of nema nemasso on the 13th for Phase one of Op Alexender just so your aware of the finer details old boy the nema nemasso operation will be named Enduring light and should you need to use it your get out of jail free password is ARTEMIS it will only help with UK troops of course to much risk of leak to spread it throughout the whole battle group. Any Intel you can gather and get to the battlegroup before the 13th will be greatly recieved as they are going to have a hell of a job seperating teh DBR from the locals if there is infact any seperation at all. This was Azears strong hold and his follwers still hold true that the entire region is sacred to his path so they are expected to carry the fight to our boys which is pretty unheard of with the DBR since the Congo debacle. But sources claim they have spent that time well retraining specialist cells and units they have regrouped refinanced and reinforced after 2 years of recruitmnet drives in the back water areas of Northen CHAD.
I will keep you informed of any developments from here or any of the other agents across the theatre.
Be carefull Jock you will be in the hornets nest this time and your on your own untill Enduring light starts
Strength and honour

Intel report.

Nema nemasso is most definatly a DBR strong hold in the past 24 hours alone i have counted dozens of active service units moving freely through out the town.
All well equipped and well motivated. Recommend that ISAT force is placed under leadership of Task Force Black for the initial stages of the Op.
Key buildings seem to be The Mosque to the south a large expansive compound and looks well prepped for defense. The original location for FOB NOX still stands in the Northern sector of the city. its taken a pounding since 2007 when the paras pulled out but remains best choice to establish command HQ KGB HQ lies south of FOB NOX almost half way between the fob and the mosque could prove troublesome in enemy hands. The police station is an isolated compound in the eastern sector of the city. Recommend utilising as second FOB
So far can confirm 6 key personalties within the city as of 2100 hrs local time today fixed locations or ID photos unavailable at present time.
I would like to be able to offer more but at this time thats all i have got. I have managed to drop several beacons in strategic places and have forwarded access codes to Air command they should offer some assitance to the UAV Ill report in tommorow at same time unless something changes. JB

I can confirm the 6 DBR controllers i followed from Nema Nemasso met with another group at a mountain village about 300 k from Moussoro. it was a 12 man meeting in total and lasted for 24 hours before both groups moved off but when they departed only 2 moved toward Moussoro so i followed them and ive been told they arrived in the city late on Monday night. I arrived tuesday after last light and made contact with my local assests on the ground here. were working on possible IDs before Kingsman begins well get them this time.
As for the second group now numbering 10 left heading east from the meeting point. I left waypoint markers for the drone to pick up hopefully well pick up there trail they could be heading towards Sudan we know they have still got some contacts there and id say thats a good 4 days on foot which is how they will travel to keep low profile of course they may not go to Sudan but they ceratinly headed in that direction.
Hopefully get some confirmed IDs within 24 hours ill update as and when

Confirmation of priority targets Moussoro CHAD. As of 17:45 local time i was able to confirm presence of one of the DBR controllers.
We have confirmed one male mid 30s short dark hair, heavy smoker, pale complexion by local standards.
He was sighted entering the tower of Ghalib at 17:45. he left 45 mins later with second man who we havnt een able to get visual on yet but i have teams on it at present.
I have sent his photo for anaylisis but one of my local assests claims he recognises the face as that of Rasheed Sadeeki.
Sadeeki is a known DBR heavy from years ago when he was a rising star in Azears day and has found his niche as a money man who runs a nice side line in torture. If we get oppurtunity to lift him before Kingsman begins we will do so but we may have to hold off to get both targets Will update as i get new intel

Im sure by now u will have been well apraised of the ISAT situation in Moussoro so i will save you the details of that for now.
Rasheed Sadeeki managed to slip the net im afraid but in following him it did reveal another well known face to us IDRIS HABRE longtime DBR enforcer and financer and the good news is that British forces killed him on sunday morning they had tried to lift him out and get him to the fob but in the feirce fighting in that area HABRE was killed and although thats a loss to possible intel ill take it as a positive just to see his dead body and know that he wont be helping anyone any more.
Theres still a lot of DBR movement in Moussoro and im going to stay a few extra days before moving out after Sadeeki who i beleive is still heading to N'Djamena as his final destination. I have a lead on someone who may know his travel plans and destinations for the immediate future so im going to attempt to have a chat and i will update you when i know more

Message From: Sir Jonathan Brockenhurst
Gentlemen i have asked you here today to assess intel which could prove vital in the buildup to the Chadian elections.
As you are all well aware publicly we have acknowledged Victor Allumas assension to power in the CHAD but behind these closed doors we all realise that is the whitehall press machine talking. But as discussed on numerous occasions we do not want to see him assume full presidential power in the summer. our armed forces and those of our allies are fighting fierce mostly unwinnable battles against an ever shifting ever evolving foe if Alluma is succesfull in the summer we can expect all that work to be reduced to nothing overnight. We have it from reliable sources that should the KGB win the elections all coalition forces will be forced to leave the CHAD and the past 5 years will have been in vain.
Well chaps i have an alternative option, we have just recieved reliable intel that the KGB minister for internal security Claude Utaka is about to begin a whirlwind tour of known election campaign destinations he is travelling under the pretense of pre security checks but our source claims he is meeting with hardline dissident rebels from cameroon. We believe he is looking to recruit small unknown groups for specific tasks that couldnt if discovered be blamed oupon the KGB im talking aout the rumoured forced clearences of DBR village in Northern CHAD and possible intimidaion and coercian of voters in the run upt o the elections.
Our intel states that Utaka will cross the border and travel into cameroons interior for a meeting with Henchi tribesman a particularly vicious group known for hatred of westerners very similar in principle the seira leones west side boys.
My plan is to covertly insert a small team into the area of the meeting and assassinate Utaka and his cp team making it look like they fell foul of the Henchi fighters tehy were due to meet. It is integral to the plan that we lay blame at the feet of another non western group. The Henchi are well known for volatile behaviour during negotiations and i have local assests stirring rumours that will help tie the whole cover story together.
The plan i admit is risky and i havnet bored you with details but i have picked a team and they are fully briefed and ready to go wheels up the minute we say yes. And gentlemen just so you know we have total denaibility incase of failure because the team is american i have delibratly not picked british troops for this op so we can honstly say our hands are clean. But trust me the americans i have picked are the best of the best extremly experianced at this kind of op and i have all faith that they will succeed or at least do the honurable thing and die trying.
I will leave you to discuss gentlemen but dont make me wait to long time is of the essence here.
Sir Jonathan Brockenhurst SI7
