Operation Taurus, Combat Mission, AOW: Tour Of Duty ALEX 1
15-16th May 2010

Location: Kousseri, Cameroon.

Situation:

Part of Stirling Airsoft's ongoing All Out War - Tour Of Duty series of airsoft games and combat mission for 2010.

Si7 have been involved heavily in assisting the planning of the current Spring offensive in Chad.  They have provided intelligence through human and electronic assets as well as working to establish a network of agents loyal to the future benefactors of Chad when the intended change to the current regime takes place.  Further to this, a small number of individuals including the Director of Si7, Deputy Director of Operations, a number of handpicked Field Officers and their counterparts in the CIA have been putting together contingency measures should any unexpected surprises occur.  Both the Heads of State for the UK and USA have signed off on this operation on the knowing that it will be fully denied if anything goes wrong, making the measure for success even narrower.

These measures have all been designed to put the finger of blame at another group, party or nation.  Full plans have been drawn up to include blackmail, sabotage, international scandal and assassination to ensure the intended outcome arises when elections take place in August.

One mission, codenamed Operation Taurus, has been authorised by the Directors of Si7 and the CIA.  The plan is to drop a small Task Force Black team into Cameroon to assassinate the Kanem Guera Brotherhood’s Minister for Internal Security, Claude Utaka.  Since Operation Foxhunt last August, he has been Victor Aluma’s right hand man for control and intimidation of N’Djamena and the surrounding provinces they have majority control of.  Intelligence sources have suspected him of ordering forced clearing of DBR villages in Kanem and Lac and fear this will only get worse as Aluma moves to ensure his victory in the elections through fear and coercion of voters.

Surveillance has established that Utaka travels via road over the border from N’Djamena into Cameroon to a remote farm to entertain regional dignitaries to build support for the Aluma administration every couple of weeks.  There is a window of opportunity to strike after the guests leave but it must be made to look as though the local population have attacked the farm to prevent international complications.  The tactical concern is the large number of bodyguards to the Task Force Black team but failure will put the wider operation in Chad at risk.
