Black Hawk Down Debreif (skinny's)

ALI BUMBAYA, ALI BUMBAYA!! haha, this post is going to be very biased so i will start by saying a big thanks to the delta & rangers who where our enemy for the weekend! it was great going up against you guys & an airsoft weekend is nothing without great opposition (as im sure you will agree)

There were some colourful characters on our side & all of us got into the skinny spirit, i have to acknowledge the one's who got dressed into character as this was greatly appreciated by both sides, but every skinny got into the rebel role & gave 110% and i cant ask for more than that!

Skinnies! every MOG member I salute you all. whatever was asked you gave, whatever was needed you delivered, wherever there was trouble you were in the thick of it!
Mayhem! thats what we created! an unpredictable enemy force! that seemed to be everywhere the Yanks went. which was true to the skinnies style - It was our city afterall

Some of the tasks were less action packed like guarding key targets or target buildings, but we all pulled together & worked as a TEAM.

War is about being a team,War is a game of inches.

Because we know when we add up all those inches, that's gonna make the  difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying! I'll tell you this, in any fight it's the guy whose willing to die whose gonna win that inch. And I know, if I'm gonna have any life anymore it's because I'm still willing to fight and die for that inch, because that's what living is.
We could either fight as a team or die as individuals
Skinies !This weekend we fought as a team and took every Inch of the city . Well done to each & everyone of you!

The first Game was the build up to the actual black hawk down scenario.

Mohammaded Farrah Aidid (that was me) was controling the aid conming into Somalia, the UN Pakistan forces came to somalia to tell us how to run our country to stop us from controlling the aid- THEY GOT OWNED! they were forced back from the aid station & on a patrol were ambushed & captured by us rebels, the bodies were disbursed across the city & eventually executed, attempts by military units in the area were forced back by the ferocious Somali Rebels.

After lunch was the actual BHD scenario.
Delta were dropped onto the target building whch held key personell & a small armed skinny guard.

US Skinny's were on the street protesting at the presence of US rangers in our city folowing the slaughter of the un forces earlier. Delta & rangers moved into place & hit the target building. & ranger chals took key positions across our city!

ALI BUMBAYA ALI BUMBAYA! a call to arms was made & each & every member of the skinny forces took to the streets to fight the yankee's

during the battle a young ranger was injured as he fell from one of the helicopters, para rescue were sent in to medivac him, unfortunatly his chalk & the para rescue were overhwelmed by skinnies & we now had a ranger as prisoner. We owned hiss young american ass ( for about 5 hours) eventually the yanks managed to mount up an assault & rescued there man back.

Next a black hawk went down in the city & skinnies amassed to the crash site to fight off any american forces in the area, we captured and dragged the bodies of the pilots across the city & held them captive,
the crap had now hit the fan, as the yanks were pulled right across the city, some were fighting for blackburn, the others were fighting for the target building & the remaider were frantically trying to find the location of the pilots of the crashed Black Hawk.

Battles across the city ensued throughout the night, a skinny patrol moved one of the Black hawk pilots to a safe house & reports were they were ambushed & theYanks intercepted & took out the skinny's & got one of their pilots back, upon hearing this news i dragged the other pilot outside the hospital building(29) where he was being held captive prayed for him, cursed the american scum in our city & then executed him in the middle of the road & left his dead body for the americans to see. eventually a van came & took his body away.

Skinny's fought hard to maintain the hospital building (29) & buildings 31 and the target building (tower block)

late into the night a second black Hawk was shot down by an RPG and once again we amassed to the crash site, we captured the pilot & this time para resuce & yanks got there & an attempt to resuce their man was almost sucessfull, but once again the relentless attitude of the Somali's was too much. and the pilot got some serious ownage! he was baby sat till the end of the night by a strong skinny contingent.

the Yanks amassed together & made a big pudsh to control the city & several key buildings were won & lost as the fighting went on through the night.

sunday strated the same way saturday finished with a big push for  the city & the pilot by the Yanks.
They never got their man!!!
 They eventually got a convoy & on mass were chased out of somalia to the pakistani stadium by Aidids loyal & ferocious army! and as the dust settled the Aidid & his men smiled with a sence of victory as they saw they yankees run out of town!

We lost our high ranking generals & many good skinny's they lost a lot of rangers & delta & two pilots.
the out come was a great weekend for bith sides lots & lots of action & here's to the next one!

Big thanks to Kelli & the Girls for the catering, Thanks to all the marshalls who worked hard on marshalling, Regen duty, guard duty & the big clean up at the end, which is a big job.
