Subject: New Task.

After much discussion over this new de-militarised zone we have decided that we need a new initiative. We know that the South and their Allies wont be keeping to the UN's regulations, so we want you to set up a team to counter this threat.

Your primary tasks will be to move throughout the DMZ and hit Southern targets as you see fit on the otehr side of the border. Conduct this through small unit actions to avoid bringing too much attention to your work. Secondary objectives is to disrupt enemy activity of a similar nature.

You need to have your team ready to move in 72 hours.

Subject: Mission Update

We have had a heavy increase in enemy activity in our area of operation, we must be doing something right then.

My soldiers have been carrying out their mission with high efficiency and even the deployment of enemy special forces have not halted our progress. Those SF troops have learnt their lesson, we bloodied their nose and even captured some after a fierce fight.

We will continue our guerilla campaign around the Olchon Valley until we receive further orders, their outposts wont be safe.

Colonel Mook, you have been tasked with providing the assault forces with aerial cover. The spy planes from the South aren't a threat as they can't get away with them, but there satelites pose danger to our plan.

We must disable any satelites or provide a way for masking the build up on the DMZ in the coming weeks if our plan is to succeed. You have the full co-operation of General Tong's special forces in the DMZ if necessary.

Remember, the mission of the Death Dragons will bring the South and its Allies to their knees.

Good luck

From: Colonel Harrison, TF Black O.C.

Subject: TF Black readiness

TF Black is still undergoing its restructuring program after Op Corsicus, so far so good. I can confirm that the vets from the current campaign are settling into their new unit and the training is on schedule.

As advised in your recent intel report I agree that we should move the first cadre to theatre as soon as the training concludes; If your suspicions about North Korean movement is confirmed then the position of Seoul is at risk.

We aim to have the first team on the ground in less than a fortnight, from there you will have your eyes and ears.

General Tong, we've managed to obscure the eyes of the south and their American conspirators as Pyongyang ordered.

Our EMP strike capability has developed over the last couple of years and now SkyShield has temporarily given you the chance to move your Division through the front line and strike for Seoul.

The blackout will only last for 36 hours maximum but should give you enough time to gain a foothold in the South.

The White Horse Divison of the South wont stand a chance on the border against the 108th and the mighty North!

Urgent Intel Update

To: General Adams, Camp Delta, Seoul, South korea

From: Director Reynolds, CIA, Langley, USA

Subject: Satellites Down

As of 07:12 hours Eastern Standard Time we lost aerial imagery of the DMZ. In the past 24 hours there has been a worrying increase in vehicle movements along the main MSR on the North side of the zone.

I suggest strongly that the White Horse Division step up their security state along the border and anticipate an engagement. It could be technical but i doubt it, it seems to calculated.

Stay sharp and expect 30 minute updates from Langley and the Joint Chiefs at the Pentagon.

God speed.

Sit Rep

To: General Maeng, Staff Officer to North Korean Command, Pyongyang.

From: General Tong, Commander of North Korean Assault Force

As yet we have had no firm resistance form the Allied South, they try to fight but our artillery barrages and mechanised assaults have them collapsing back to Seoul.

Ko-Hong, Poyang-Ho and Sokch'o are fully under our control and we have started moving logistics into place in these locations to allow further movement west.

Inbetween these towns we are attempting to dominate the ground. Sweep and clear missions are advancing to contacts as we speak and removing all Allied presence.

I shall send another sit rep soon.

February 23rd 2007

Urgent Intel Update

To: General Adams, Camp Delta, Seoul, South korea

From: Director Reynolds, CIA, Langley, USA

Subject: Goyang

At 10:34 hours, local time, CIA analysts picked up on a burst message by members of the South Korean Blue Dragon Division. The following is a transcript:

-Hello Zero, this is Charlie Six Niner, serious enemy movement on our position at Goyang, i say again we have a serious threat to our position, over.
-Hello Charlie Six Niner, this is Zero, what is your sit rep? over.
-Zero, we have collapsed from the East and South East and now trying to hold along the position at grid figures 1547 2651, over.
-Charlie Six Niner, continue as planned and advise of changes to your situation, over.
-Roger last transmission, out.

END TRANSMISSION

Within ten minutes the following contact report was broadcast from Goyang:

-Hello Zero, this is Charlie Six Niner, major contact wait out...

-Zero, we can't hold them back, they are throwing their tanks and mech forces in too far. Half my numbers are now cut off and i'm losing comms from them, doesn't seem that prisoners are being taken, over.
-Charlie Six Niner, we have no air support in your area at present, if you have lost control then get your men out of there. Move to your next defence point and reinforce that town.
-Roger that Zero, will fall back and return comms when in.............

END TRANSMISSION

After that we lost comms, at the moment we have no idea what stopped the transmission, either it's a comms failure in Goyang or a problem with the user. After our drones took a pass over the city, i'm guessing it was the latter, it's a massacre down there.

We have other reports of the North not taking prisoners, might be worth sending out a new standing operating procedure for this current offensive concerning actions on capture.

We need to make a stand soon Bill.

Sit Rep

To: General Maeng, Staff Officer to North Korean Command, Pyongyang.

From: General Tong, Commander of North Korean Assault Force

The Blue Dragons are falling back towards Seoul, we will hit them hard from the West when they are least expecting it.

My Naval Command is ready for Inch'on.

So far we have pressed through Goyang and Uijonbu fell this morning, we will be in Seoul within ten days.

Sit Rep

To: General Tong, Commander of North Korean Assault Force

From: Commodore In'ho, Commander of Yellow Sea Fleet, Namp'o.

3 Squadrons from my fleet are on course to be in position off the coast of Inch'on for dawn.

A combined bombardment from the frigates and romeo class submarines will cover the approach of the attack boats and hovercrafts. Once on land the marine commandos will take over control of the operation.

With luck you will have your western flank by Tuesday.

March 13th 2007

Contact Report 0610 hrs local time

To: General Adams, Camp Delta, Seoul, South korea

From: Colonel Riley, Commandant of Inch'on, ROK Forces

Ten minutes ago at dawn, we came under bombardment from the Yellow Sea, spotters from 707 Special Missions Battalion have observed a number of squadrons off our coast and have informed me of a flotilla of assault craft heading for shore.

So far the bombardment has not damaged our infrastructure or ability to maintain our command and control but it is early days yet. We hope for the best but from an early appraisal this looks a major offensive.

I have elements of the 2 Armour Brigade, 101 Infantry Battalion and Artillery Batteries at my disposal. I will also have of the Allied Airborne Reaction Force landing within the hour from Kimp'o to reinforce us.

As soon as you can scramble any fighter or bomber squadrons our forward air controllers will be able to strike back at the ships in the bay. Please send us word of their progress asap.

We will fight the good fight, but the horizon is dark with this new engagement.

Sit Rep 1000 hrs local time

To: General Tong, Commander of North Korean Assault Force

From: Commodore In'ho, Commander of Yellow Sea Fleet, Namp'o.

The bombardment has knocked the enemy to their knees, we have hit their communications and logistical capabilites with our cruise missile and naval strikes.

My marine commandos have given you your beach head, your supplies will start moving in by evening time as long as everything else goes to plan. They have also started their mission to capture the South's air defence sites around the city, they know it's important that we create an aerial shield from the Allied air forces if this new front is to stand a chance. Hopefully once a few of their planes get shot out the sky by their own rockets they will think twice before sending them to fight us!

I will contact you with more updates as i get them.

March 14th 2007

Sit Rep 0800hrs local time

To: General Tong, Commander of North Korean Assault Force

From: Captain Seo Moon, Commander of NK Marine Commando Unit, Inch'on.

My men have 'removed' the South's command elements in Inch'on as of 0730 hrs. We have also taken control of the remaining anti-aircraft positions and disrupted logistic supply lines in and out of the city.

The beach head is fully functioning and more men and supplies are coming ashore thanks to our Chinese friends and their craft, i still don' trust them though.

We gave no quarter to the South or their Allied conspirators as per Pyongang's orders and i can report morale is high.

I have sent a number of small recce teams ahead to the next major defensive positions and towns in preparation for your next move.

As of dawn this morning you have your new front, we have full control of Inch'on.

Harrison, after that Brit reporter Billany got so publically killed last week and the loss of Inch'on, I want your HQ moved closer to the fight.

Make sure you have men in Suwon to babysit the press, we need people who can blend in though as you need to keep OPSEC still. We can't let another Billany happen, it's bad enough our men are suffering like he did but we can't allow civilians to be caught like that while the world looks on.

I know it's asking alot of your new team but get eyes on the advance of Tong's Brigade, keep us informed.
