Hello Stirling community,
It has come to my attention that I will be moving to Europe in the coming months. Due to the close proximity and the cheap flights from British Airways Smiley I will be attending some Stirling games. That being said, I am a little in the dark on the UK airsoft rules vs the US airsoft rules.  What are the differences if any? What should I know before I step on the feild? I have also heard rumors about crazy FPS rules in the UK like 400+....is this true?  I have read some on the laws banning realistic looking airsoft rifles and I think GBB pistols....is this true as well? I am sorry I am just full of questions.

Current loadout:
JG M4 S-System with PEQ-2 laser
SOCOM gear MEU 1991 GBB

Are those good to use over in the UK....once again I am sorry for all the questions Smiley

Thanks,
Alex/Kestrel (Snackpacman)

Hey there,

FPS Limits are:

AEG and Support weapons 370 fps maximum
Sniper rifles 500 fps maximum – min engagement distance 25m
Fixed support weapons 450 fps maximum (Stirling Airsoft Ltd only)

With .2g BB’s

There's no real difference between the two countries, it's more picking the right place to go airsofting, you've seen what we are all about so you  know what to expect.

There are some rules regarding the ownership of airsoft weapons in the UK, I'd suggest reading the resources here for more information-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airsoft

There's a section  midway down about the law.

Let us know if you've got any other questions
