Operation Wildcat, Catterick Urban Ops, 10/11th March 2012
Start of the second AOW Tour of Duty, Alexander 3

Location: Sarh, Moyen-Chai, Southern Chad

Situation:

President Aluma has insisted the KGB National Army is more than capable of crushing the new areas of resistance that are emerging in the South but has also stated that his desire is to unite his people, not alienate them through collateral damage. Part of his plan is to increase the Chadian Police’s presence in the provincial cities and towns as well as a more dynamic policy for countering the DBR insurgency and more recently the renewed threat of the Knights of Azear.

The town of Sarh, in South Eastern Chad, is one of these locations selected for Aluma’s new ‘society of the free’ initiatives; Aluma’s advisors believe it a key location due to its proximity to the Central African Republic’s border and its transit links, both foreign and domestic. The DBR and KOA have been using the town as a hub for passage between the countries as well as supply of arms and equipment across the South.

Elements of Task Force Blue have been flown in from their FOB on the Sudanese border and have been requested to assist in the establishment of the Police presence and their training in Sarh, as well as advising the KGBNA.

The Knights of Azear, the hard line African extremists responsible for many atrocities since the death of General Azear in 2007, are hoping to mirror the success the DBR have found in Bousso, 150 miles away, and create safe havens to plan and launch their attacks against Aluma’s regime from. Part of Sarh’s strategic importance is the ingress of supplies for a device that has been procured by foreign elements of the KOA, the device is being intended as a ‘spectacular’ to return Chad to the true believers of Azear and is vital this package is moved through Sarh securely and discreetly.

Teams:

KGBNA: Any Mix Of Desert Uniforms

Task Force Blue: Multicam Only

Knights Of Azear (K.O.A.): Traditional dress / Civvie **All Must Wear Red Shemagh**

Divine Brotherhood Of Roy (D.B.R.): DPM **All Must Wear Red Shemagh**

Mission

KGBNA and TFB: Establish a government presence in Sarh and proceed with counter –insurgency operations against the DBR by removing HVT’s (High Value Targets) and denying their supply routes.

KOA and DBR: Create a safe passage for the component to travel through and build support in Sarh to mirror Bousso.

On behalf of Stirling Airsoft Ltd I'd like to thank all those who attended this event, the first outing of the Alexander 3 Tour of Duty.  It was hard fought and the KOA have become an added threat to the security of southern Chad following the DBR's gradual grip on the region in Alex2.

A full debrief will be up soon as will further Tour of Duty intel reports for the ongoing campaign.

Thanks to those who travelled from far and wide, the dutchies, cornish and everyone else I've missed off.  Good to see old and new faces alike.

Looking forward to the coming events, we've got a whole load lined up!
