SHIA/SCR Debrief

the Shia were faced with an uphill task of entering a hotbed of activity &  already occupied territory.
It was Never going to be easy the task that faced us! we were well aware of that & to be honest i expected it to take the majority of the day for us to gain a foothold.

much of the morning was spent in a scrambling defence style with no major vantage being taken and the lack of a distinctive forward operations base was proving a major hinderance, with much of the real estate being occupied by either sunni or british, it seemed we were running up a blind alley, I was approached by the Sunni Muslim Iraqi Party leader jamail Malik to strike a cease fire deal and to combine our forces to remove the british from their FOB. this deal was struck & adheared to & we achieved our goal & allowed the Sunni to move into the FOB (for a short while), as this plan & co-op action was being carried out  i had instructed A few of the Prophet calls signs to strike at some key objectives we needed to take & to give us some established ground to fight from, I risked everything by striking a deal with both the britsh & the Sunni in order to gain us some ground, unfortunatly the combined effort worked too well & everything was going more than to plan, unfortunatly our cease fire broke down & we once again found ourselves at war with the Sunni & the Brits, even though the British were given heads up on the oncoming assault they failed to support themselves accordingly & they were over ran, many of my men questioned why the ceasefire broken down! if we had not taken some advantage for ourselves we would not have established the fighting platform we gained from this oppertunity. some were kept in the dark and for this i appologise but it was all for our greater victory.

The Brits now had real reason to go at the Sunni for having such a go at them & they lacked our trust as we allowed them to be removed from the FOB,  we were already at war with the sunni & it took some of the spotlight off us from the brits (albeit for a short period) but this was a much needed window of oppertunity & eveyone of the Prophet callsigns stood to task & was very very effective, we had now gained some much needed ground & made ourselves a force to be taken seriously. from here we built on our strenght and pushed for objective after objective, We held strong in the Madrassa, the police station, the hospital & the British FOB. a constant arm wrestle for the Water purification plant and the Oil Refinery & train station ensued. but were were now Well & Truly in the fight. we had kicked the hornets nest & were feeling the wrath.

Operation Camel Toe was starting to take shape as planned. although were were constantly fighting a HARD battle with the Sunni & the Brits.

Darkness allowed our Ghurilla tactics to come into play & we gained back some more ground & some of our gold that the brits held & a well executed night raid on the power plant proved fruitful.

many sortee's & attacks echo'd around SHAIBAH as we continued to gain a foothold across the city.

Sunday continued as saturday finished with a strong resistance against us from both sides and we were once again wedged in the middle of a mad fight. We struck a deal with the brits to halt the sunni from moving their oil shipment in exchange for our aid to be safely located within our aid station!
We kept our end of the bargain & intercepted as promised the oil shipment, however the Brits would not allow us access to the aid station & they back stabbed us & we were now caught in open ground with all our wares. we needed our Safe house back & the brits were non forthcoming, so as we struggled to remove thei british forces from our safe house, the sunni's flooded into it and almost threatened our golden chance, Once again We was left to strike a deal with Jamail Malik's men to orchastrate a ceasefire this allowed us to get the Oil, Aid, Gold & a Now encarcerated  and injured Cheif of Iraqi police into our safe house. the sunni's were given a free path to move their money & Stinger missile systens into the power plant, unfortunatly the brits intercepted the Sunni's Loot & we Agreed to combine an assualt to aid them retrieve their shipments. as this was happening  Shia were flooding to take property left in the big push & we claimed some much needed advantage, to allow us to bargain.

The Battle seemed to be won by the brits but in the greater scheme of things VICTORY went to the Shia on a MORAL VICTORY Basis because we started with Nothing only our gold & by end ex we held the British FOB, A share of the Madrassa, the SMIP HQ, the train Station, the Mosque and our Safe House,
We held the following:
Aid Shipment (although not the aid station in which to contain it)
Oil Shipment (although we did not hold the refinery)
the Majority of our Gold
and the Cheif of Iraqi Police

the Ground we took & the objectives we finished with gives us now an established foothold within Shaibah, talks must now begin with Jamail Malik to see what his intentions are and how we take things forward from here, but we now have bargaining power, something we didnt have saturday morning.

All of the above could not have been possible without the great efforts of the Prophet Callsigns & every member of  the SHIA/SCR.

All praise be upon you my men, the points did not reflect the effort & the outcome on the ground...
many thanks
