The Tanzanian Government, who owns a 25% share of the mine, has predictably raised security in the district due to the media interest and has insisted that the controlling mining company, Priam Diamonds, bring in security advisors to coordinate the operation. Defense Corps, being the cheapest stock at the moment due to their questionable moral involvment in Western involved theatres have been hired on a low profile.
Also, within the district there have been violent crimes against local villages at the hands of the Isakka boys. A gang responsible for the trans-shipment of heroin and cocaine from Asia and South America down through Tanzania on the African drug trail to South Africa. They are also known to be involved in many other illegal money making activities. The Tanzanian peoples Defence Force (TPDF) have aslo been assigned the responsibility of bringing a halt to their actions as well as securing the safe transit of 'the Shinyanga Maiden'.
Strategic Solutions have been approached by a breakaway group from the small state of Equatorial Guinea who are keen to raise funds for a takeover of their country. After seeing it 'suffer at the hands' of the interim Government and then 'falsely' elected administration that have been in power since the last coup at the hands of General Azear in October 2006, they have decided that the quickest way to raise funds would be to acquire the Priam stones and then sell them on the black market. Strategic Solutions has also been sounded out about future operations in any potential coup.
