********** Rule clarification **********

These rule clarifications are to make sure that the game play /rules are adhered to and flow without a marshals intervention.

Creativity is the key word !!! Not stupidity !!!

•Rules of engagement are clear..... 1 warning 2 warning shot 3 Engage

•If a player feels in game that his or her life is in danger then they will shoot !!

•If you are carrying a weapon you will be shot !!

•If you are dressed in combat gear ….. i.e. rig belt kit , body armour head to toe in camouflage …. then please expect to get shot as it is clear what your intentions are or have been !!! / Put a bit of effort and creativity into your role and you'll have a lot more fun and deserve your victory !!!

•Under No circumstances do you hide , conceal , carry what ever you want to call it any weapon to use on a patrol or team that you have casually walked up to or just passed!!! If you want to smuggle weapons from one area to another to gain advantage for a planned assault or ambush fine , we welcome that ,But unless everyone wants to start getting strip searched then use common sense !!!

•IED's will now only be sanctioned by your over all command , they are to be kept in a secure area until needed. Designated IED teams will be in operation ….. it is not a free for all and only TLSFX electric dets can be used , and on ground level only.

•Doors, windows , compound gates are not to be locked, barricaded or booby trapped in any way as injury or damage can be sustained from these actions which is unacceptable.

•When playing a unarmed / civilian role and are hit by fire then please lie down and bleed out for the 5 minutes !! Do not talk or complain , follow the medic rules as applied when in a combative role or civilian. If you decide to walk in to the middle of a fire fight handing out lolly pops or what ever else it is you want to do then expect that your chances of not getting shot are pretty low !!! So DON'T complain when you do !!!

•if a civilian applies the medic rule to a known combatant then you will be treated as such and shot or arrested.

•Throwing grenades over walls is not allowed unless you can see what or who is on the other side .

• Entering a compound or building !! once you are in the doorway or just outside of it then it is single shot in or out of that area !! A compound is classed as an extension of the building and should be treated as a room therefore Single shot only in out !!!

• No climbing over walls that are anything over 1 meter high. Common sense people !!

•In front of fob will be a no go zone for any Civilian ….. An exclusion zone will be in place , again …….. do not enter without permission

•Use of a radio is classed as dicking and you will be shot……. Be creative

•The use of torches is permitted but will be considered a threat when pointed in the direction of a player or used to light up positions of players so falls into the rules of engagement.

Twenty-four hours after the shooting of a cleric at a Kanem Guera Brotherhood National Army vehicle checkpoint west of the city, N’Djamena is in the biggest state of civil unrest since the elections.

The cleric, who was a spokesman for the political wing of the Divine Brotherhood of Roy, was fatally shot after a brief confrontation with a soldier searching his vehicle.  The news has spread quickly via social media bringing attention, both in Chad and abroad, to the volatile city once more.

A demonstration by students outside the House of Chadian Congress was met with a robust response by the Police and KGBNA units attempting to quash any trouble before it escalated.  A group within the protesters attempted to enter Congress, at which point tear gas and water cannons were deployed leading to the crowd confronting the official forces in Freedom Square.  A riot ensued which then led to violent protest at other government locations around city as well as reports of arson and looting.

The smoke is still hanging over the city and President Aluma, who is returning from a regional conference in nearby Gabon, is facing his sternest test to controlling his seat of power since gaining office.
