Unarmed Combat Courses

 

Learn the skills and techniques taught to the worlds Elite Special Forces Units  Our system is relevant if you are a beginner or an experienced operative. We only teach techniques that work in the street and other real combat situations. We can show you how to overcome size and strength by understanding the fundamental mechanics of the body's movement and by identifying its vulnerable areas. The 2 day course covers all aspects of self defence and counter attacks, with and without weapons. It also places great emphases on ground work as in reality the majority of fights end up on the floor at some stage. The course is taught by instructors who have many years experience of REAL conflict and have vast knowledge of what really works under high stress, aggressive and violent situations. 

Course Content Module 1              

Self defence and the Law             

Conflict management            

Body language, positioning, awareness and aggression  

Module 2             

Mechanics of the body's movement             

Vulnerable areas of the body           

Timing, speed, balance, aggression and commitment.  

Module 3             

Defending punches, strikes, blows, elbows, chokes and headlocks            

Defending kicks and knees             

Counter attacking using all of the above.           

Throws and takedowns  

Module 4              

Fighting on the ground             

Body positioning,             

Restraint and locks.              

Leverage of joints, arm bars, knee bars, and heel hooks.             

Chokes and guillotines 

Module 5              

Defending attacks from the rear             

Multiple attackers             

Fighting in confined spaces             

Defending against weapons ( Firearms, Knives and bats or clubs )             

Disarming of firearms     

Who Should Attend 

Anyone who wishes to learn an effective self defence system that works in a Civilian, Military or Close Protection environment. Females who feel threatened or vulnerable to attack.   

Minimum Requirements             

 A sensible attitude            

Good health, injury free            

A degree of physical fitness and flexibility 

Training bottoms or shorts

2 or 3 old T shirts ( they will get ripped ]
